Oh, alright then. Pro-tip though, try building a U shape in the tunnel which provides water to the cistern. Put a floorgrate over the top of the U on the cistern side. Building destroyers can't destroy buildings from below, so this acts as a filter, letting water in and keeping trolls or whatever out. | ||

There's hundreds, maybe thousands of them, and I don't know enough about them to recommend any specific examples. If you want a complicated strategy game with things built by the player, look into Aurora 4x. Its like Europa Universalis crossed with Total War, in space. You manage basically everything about your galactic empire, from designing ships to colonizing and terraforming distant worlds. Its ridiculously in-depth, down to the fact that you have to deal with politics, in that shitty naval officers might get promoted to important ranks based on political trickery, not merit. Ok first and foremost, set Dwarf Therapist to sort by migration wave. This will sort the dwarves in order of arrival. You can be fairly certain the vampire is in one of the more recent waves, as if he was in an older one, he would've struck sooner. Second, look through the dwarves checking their thoughts. Any dwarf that has no thoughts about food, drink, or sleep is a suspect, as vampires dont eat, drink, or sleep. Another thing to be suspicious about is a huge list of previous memberships, (the blue text in thoughts and relationships menu). They tend to have lots of children, none of whom are in the fort. They also tend to have no relatives in the fort. Once you've narrowed your search down to a few dwarves, wall these dwarves into small rooms. Monitor them, and if any get tired, hungry, thirsty, or fall asleep, they are not vampires and can be set free. If anyone doesnt get hungry, thirsty, or fall asleep after a year, they're the vampire. | ||

I just started to care because he killed my militia commander. | ||
