I remember back when they were "Mighty", the Ducks were basically were the floor mop of the Pacific devision, how ironic! 2000-2002ish the had pretty much the worst records in the league. That 2003 PO run was surreal, they were 7'th? and went 4-0 Detroit, 4-2 Dallas, 4-0 Minnesota. Giguere was godlike. This year they were beasty throughout and deserve the cup despite being historically a shitty team. But that is the past and now this is a different team that is going to make life miserable for Sharks >-< and co. in the Pacific especially with the retarded 8 game vs division teams schedule.
Sharks are a choke team in the PO. . . . . . . Siiiiiiiigh. ;(

I really hope not, I hate the wings. I'm guessing #1 priority for the ducks right now is signing Giguere

On a side note, Carey Price is a fucking beast and I hope the habs will give him a chance. They should start the season with a 3 goalie setup and choose after a couple of match who stays. (Huet Halak and Price that is, Aebisher is out of montreal lol)

Now they just need to get a good center so Kovalev can produce. I'm thinking along the line of Briere or Smyth here, if they ever want to come and play for Montreal. Koivu is a good center but for a 2nd trio, not a first.

Well, I think the teams who won over the Canadian ones deserved it, except Carrolina. Edmonton would have won for sure if Roloson never got injured. That series was a tough one to swallow

1st year calgary should have won tamp bay but the refs didnt see the puck go in, it was in
2nd year edmonton lost roloson
3rd year... ottawa plain bad play in the final series...

Its funny how people call Detroit playoff failures when they have lost to either the western conferance champion or stanley cup champion every year since 2002. ;x Wings need to get some secondary scoring and NOT resign hasek but giguere although I wouldnt be too mad if we went with hasek 1 more year.
