Yeah, that hit was pretty bad but I don't think Pronger meant to seriously injure Holstrom. If I remember correctly, Holmstrom had been getting on his nerves prior to the incident but Pronger got a suspension anyway; whether it was long enough or not, I don't know but Holmstrom rebounded anyway.

Btw Steve, are we gonna get the updated scores before the finals start?

anyway just watch the video again, and watch how pronger's hands come up, make contact with the back of holmstrom's head, and drive his face into the boards. its a horrible, illegal hit. Holmstrom is tough as nails, but if it was a smaller guy he would be out for the series at minimum.

Detroit v Anaheim
Buffalo v Ottawa

All 4 of those were the really safe bets that would have got you absolutely killed the last couple years as far as betting.

I've voted against Ottawa each and everytime and they have won 5-1 in all their series and have voted for the ducks and predicted their last series right and they have won each one too. I don't wanna jynx the ducks, as lame as that sounds but I guess I'm a bit superstitious... gogo ducks!
