Here's where I'm at, so far: It would be interesting to see the list with only Switch generation games. As a fairly new switch owner, I’m loving the system, but I see a severe lack of high quality new games vs remastered and improved content. The old stuff is absolutely amazing, but I also want to use this opportunity to play new stuff too.

That's a good point... honestly, I don't even keep track of which games are newest-gen vs. remakes of the older games.

I was actually thinking of taking his DOA version not ninja gaiden version, so no sword

Legend of Mana is cool. Mario Golf 64 was awesome, but I don't think I care about a new Mario Golf game on Switch. I really like tactical RPGs, like Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics, so I'm pretty hyped about whatever the final name of "Project Triangle Strategy" will end up being. I assume that that placeholder title is a nod to the usual sword/axe/lance (rock/paper/scissors) triangle weapon advantages that so many tactical RPGs have? I really like that they're offering a free demo for player feedback, which was really important for Bravely Default 2... Very hyped for Bravely Default 2. (I just downloaded the Project Triangle Strategy demo.) The expansion pass for Age of Calamity looks pretty decent, for people who really enjoyed the new Hyrule Warriors. No BotW2 or Pokemon news was a letdown, and seeing LoZ:SS for the Switch, on its own, makes me worried that a 3D Zelda bundle is less likely, or at least, limited. Edit: The PTS demo is... Yikes. I might not even bother getting it unless the gameplay is significantly changed.

That's definitely the closest game to it, as a tactics RPG, but I didn't find the battle system nearly as fun. The art style being similar to Octopath is kind of nice though.
