Since the introduction of LFG it's been absolutely impossible, short of running into a really good pug but even that is just so rare... And tradechat. Glorious tradechat.

My guild just makes the blood DK's take on flame slash by themselves....easiest boss ever

Might be my nostalgia glasses but I really liked finding new people in trade chat to run dungeons for stuff like emblems. Some of the coolest people I have met were from experiences like that.

Yeah those moments when for example you just logged in to do your dungeon daily, found a bunch of really cool people and decided to spend the whole night farming heroics were amazing.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I think my favourite moment was when a friend knew I was going home for lunch to play like half an hour, and she had already a Mechanar-group assembled and ready to teleport me because I needed a sword from there.
|
My most memorable moments were my guildmates helping me out running Strath Dead about a bazillion times to get the pants which were the only set piece I was still missing, and raiding all through the night because I played on a US server from EU. It was not uncommon for me to fall asleep and run into trash in MC.
Those people, and the guild I later joined for BC, I met in real life and some of them I would still contact if I were to visit the US. I briefly played again during MoP in anticipation of WoD, but the new way of doing things really just kills all the social aspect of the game.

Right, so an IRL mate of mine and I are looking for a 3s partner because the friend we play with now has some RL shit o sort through. We're currently at around 1400 MMR but have both played 2.2k (in WotLK though). Though to be honest, I personally got carried back then.
The main focus is to have fun and improve together. We take the game seriously and always aim to win, but we don't let losses get to us too much and drag us down. So if you're the kind of person who just wants to play and have fun while climbing the ranks together, we're looking for you. Team comp would be Resto shaman/Frost DK/you. I don't think class/spec matters too much as I think there's still plenty of room to grow in a "subpar" comp. We're on EU Horde. Add me. Mikau#2362 if you want to play or discuss options.
edit: Needless to say some kind of voice communication is mandatory. We're personally using Skype atm but are fine with switching to Vent, TS, Mumble or anything similar. I'm Dutch and my mate is Romanian, so the spoken language will be English no matter what.

rip reckful 2014
if blizzard doesn't make a statement, that really sucks

Seeing as reckful and others got banned for it I don't see why Kuznam and co wouldn't get banned.

People are fucking dumb.
Rekful got banned for boosting those account in front of thousands of people, Blizzard otherwise is very lenient with account sharing. It's only in the ToS to prevent stuff like boosting or selling accounts on ebay.

I tend to agree. You can argue that Blizz shouldn't allow it in general, but expecting them to single out Method just because Method was the first guild to have people actually notice/catch them is idiotic.
