I'm afraid you're mistaken there. BNet has, on average, 30000 to 50000 people (as I said, 30k to 50) while SC2 has over 1 million players on every day.
I'm sorry, but 1 million players a day?
It says 1 million players currently on Battle.net (Diablo+ Wow).
I'd largely doubt US and EU get over 50k at any time. Also even if that was the SC2 number, nobody finds it strange that Blizzard hasn't updated that number since release?

That seems unlikely.
Out of all 7 million WoW subscribers, I think it's a fair bet to assume there are at the very least 800k online at any time of the day, if not more.
Diablo III probably doesn't have that many active players though. But yes, I recall asking someone about the number of players online on average, on SC2, and the answer was around 1 million and above.
During its prime time, WC3 had 500-700k+ players online, and that was 8 years ago or so. It's not far fetched, really.
On the other hand, it does seem very hard to believe that SC2 would only have 50k players online on a daily basis. I think that is down right impossible. That probably doesn't even cover the amount of Korean players. I mean, Heroes of Newerth is far, far less popular and famous game than SC2, and it has 150k players online during prime time, with 30-40k during low points. I don't really believe SC2 would somehow be below that, and I think the 1 million players is consistent.

I dont remember the specific numbers, but something over 100k bother to play at least 1 1v1 game a season, now the majority of these arent online much soo... If you add up team games + the arcade (Which cant possibly have more than 15k people on at anytime considering how dead it is) ohh and all the players who only do the campaign and dont actually count. Still doesnt add up to anything above 100k.
Dont overestimate the KR numbers, significantly more KRs play BW on Fish/b.net than SC2

If anyone wants to add me as a practice partner, add me as SacredReich on Garena, Northrend and Azeroth. I'm also beginning to play on W3Arena which is the HARDEST server ever. I'm currently on like a 10 game losing streak lol

Hello NarAliya, and welcome to the thread!
I'll add you to the OP, and I'll add you on GArena too. I mostly play on w3arena whenever I have the time (not often lately) and I enjoy it, although I do get torn to shreds sometimes. It's a good server, but the population is small and therefore you are just as likely to meet the #1 of the solo ladder that you are to meet someone who is unranked.
Nonetheless, WC3 being the greatest game ever, even losing isn't that big of a deal because I still enjoy it :D
@thezanursic, as I said, I seriously doubt that SC2 would have such a low player base. Take TeamLiquid, which has a more than decent amount of members - most of them play SC2 regularly or on a daily basis, and I think that alone is at least 50k. To me, it's simply impossible that SC2 would have a lower player base than a game like Heroes of Newerth. Anyway, this discussion really doesn't belong here as this is a WC3 thread, so let's leave it there and agree to disagree.
WC3 Resurrection!

Hey guys!
I finally got around to making a guide to make an account on YY and play on the client.
You can find the links screenshots below, with an awesome display of my fantastic Paint skills. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to log off on the YY client, so I can't show the log-in screen on the client, but it should be plenty enough.
here, here, here, here, here and here!
Hopefully it'll be helpful enough!

WC3 Resurrection! Well to be completely fair, a fairly large portion of TL is dedicated to LoL/Dota, and a still pretty lrge number of bw players I think maybe 1/2 or less play sc2 regularly or daily. just noticed
I like to check up on this thread for wc3 knowledge haha, I always wanted to play competitive but could never figure out what the fuck to do .

I am NarAlitya/SacredReich by the way
You should probably remove Garena from the list. It has been infested by bots and admins are doing nothing to rectify it.
That being said, w3arena is really the best place to play games. For EU, good times are anytime before 11pm. But honestly, with the excellent map pool, no hackers and mannered players you will really enjoy the best WC3 has to offer.
I lost all of my 1v1's yesterday but I enjoyed the thrill of micro'ing (I'm Undead) during fights, scouting my opponents and trying to counter what they are doing. Also, creeping is fun :D.
I then played 2v2 and won them all because I had improved alot in my micro and game sense from the solo games. 2v2 is not like SC2. 2v2 is like 1v1 but its 2x 1v1 with good instances of large battles and two teaming/teamwork.
God I love this game.

Hey guys!
Lucifer is streaming right now!
And TheWorldToCome was right, he is featured on the list of streams! I think that is really cool. I wonder if it has something to do with this thread?
@TheManInBlack, GArena is mostly used to play custom games between the players of this thread, it really comes in handy for that.

The Lucifer's stream must be the most weird and badass stream i've ever watched. First, he removes some orc going CL 1st and last hitting creeps while being harassed by FS+Grunt, using invis cloack. And then, he plays some k-pop, put some gloves on and dance in front of the camera. I'm 12 and what is this.

Lucifer is streaming right now guys!
I just caught the end of a game, he went FL/Panda in mirror UD and completely bashed his opponent in his base with some sick zep micro. I love this game, haha.
