Just a couple of informations : The last W/e some stephano/grubby games on wc3 was incrédible. This showmatch was played during the Numericable M-House cup, in France. I Will up date the topic with VoD asap On millenium.org, (for french only) there is sometimes wc3 livestream with viewers, playing customs games like pyramid escape, TTW, pudge wars, potm wars, micro battle etc... | ||

I've found this page, with a few mirrors. The first one doesn't work, but the second one does. The version may be outdated, but I think you can update it once it's installed. No, I don't think that will be an issue if we play on GArena. It usually handles the lag pretty well. The real problem will be to find a time to play, what with the holidays and the difference in our timezones! But we'll manage! I'll just stay on GArena at all times, and I'll whisper you when I got time. Long live WC3! | ||

I'm bassically completely free for a few weeks, so we should be able to fit in a few games. | ||

There are two most important things that are very different from starcraft. 1. Retreat wounded units and/or deny them. Unlike starcraft, wounded units can be easily healed to full and getting your units killed give enemy heroes experience. You do NOT want that. Whenever possible save your units or kill them yourself (or by neutral creeps). 2. Surrounding. Warcraft 3 places a lot of emphasis on surrounding enemy units with your own, particularly if you are using melee units. Without surrounds it is hard to kill units, so you want to surround enemy units when feasible and prevent your own units from surrounded. | ||

You can download the game from there. If your keys were registered by somebody else then you can get someone else to download the files from blizzard and pass them along to you. | ||
