GG spurs! My sister's a big Spurs fan and Wade fan as well, hope to see them have an epic series, even though the Heat seem like they have a pretty big advantage overall.

He was, even this year being a downer at times he was an above average 2-way player. The Warriors were underdogs vs that team with him and healthy Faried. Spurs would have been a good toss up but Denver beating them wouldn't have been a big upset.

Ya, losing Gallo was huge for them. I could def picture them getting to the Western Conference Finals if he was healthy. I would have put SA as underdogs to start the series even though it really is pretty close to 50-50 on that.

I just don't think the nuggets ever had that next level of elevation for playoff basketball. Sad to say but they were a "regular season team"

Did not see that much motivation from them out there in their series vs golden state.

San antonio wants this ring BAD.

Well it's easy to say they were a regular season team because they went out in the first round...it's not that black and white in their case though imo. They would have been a tougher matchup to this Spurs team in many ways.

I was more comparing the potential spurs/nuggets matchup, pretty much anything would have been a tougher matchup than a sweep (except the clips they are the epitome of a regular season team)

Ah I see what you mean, but still you can't compare the results to define how tough it was Vayne. Two sweeps are not equal. One could be a very tough 4-0 with 4 overtimes, while another could be a breeze in the park with starters resting all 4th quarters.

The only reason I said it would be a tougher matchup is because Denver's style of play clashes well with the Spurs'.

Yes. The thing with the Grizz sweep is that almost all the games could be very different if MEM hit a few more free throws, or made a few more easy uncontested layups that Allen and more surprisingly Zbo missed. It could very easily be 2-2 or 3-1 right now if a few more shots bounced in instead of out or whatnot. Whereas with the Bucks sweep, for example, it never really looked close, even if Milwaukee could have gotten lucky.

Hoping Duncan and Parker come back really well rested without being too rusty. Both will need to play really well for them to take on the Heats.

As a spurs fan this is such a comfortable situation. Very excited to see what the best coach in the league can do with 9 days and at least 2 games to prepare for the Heat. All the while old men Duncan and Ginobli rest while Parker gets healthier.
