After watching the Spurs vs Dubs I thought the Spurs didn't have the juice to match is with the Grizz over 7 games. How wrong I was. The Dubs may well have been the second best team in these WC Playoffs. I hope Miami makes it now. I'm really intrigued to see the perimeter battle of Chalmers/Wade/LBJ against Parker/Green/Leonard. Leonard and Green have been killing it defensively so far but Wade and LBJ will be a whole new level of challenge for them.

What would be funny is if Miami makes it to the finals and then both the Spurs and the Heat decide to sit their main guys and just play with benches like they did in the regular season. I would so rofl

In both those OT games it was really just a matter of the Spurs getting it together rather than the Grizz doing anything special. The series was dictated completely by the Spurs from game one and the Grizz never really got a look in.

The dubs couldn't have asked for 2 better opponents in the playoffs, a Denver team that can't defend against the 3 and a Spurs team that doesn't like to play fast paced. I'd say that if the Grizz faced anyone other than the Spurs in the West they'd be in the finals.

But if I did a (particularly homer) power ranking for shits and giggles I'd go: Spurs Dubs Grizz OKC (minus WB--I think they would have been in the Finals with WB playing) Nugs Clips Rox Lolkers

The Grizzlies thrive on being physical and messy on both ends of the floor, and they're usually able to get to their opponents and throw them off of their games that way. However, the Spurs are too experienced and well-coached to lose track of themselves, and they follow and execute their system so well and so consistently no matter how far ahead or behind they are.

Gallo or no Gallo, I couldn't see them getting past the Spurs. And that's if Gallo was enough of a difference maker vs the Dubs to swing that series in their favour.
