EPTIn other news FF9 has trolled me so much lately I've retreated to the friendlier game of KH 358/2 where I am going for a sub 5 run (current PB = 5:10:27 which may or may not be a WR but I don't know because I can't figure out how Nico works)

I guess there is a riskier Xion phase 3 strat I could use but If I get a bad attack pattern from her I basically have to die regardless since she heals back to full. Oh yeah Siax did his annoying block ability so thats a good 20 seconds there. | ||

And never thought about Xion being such a bitch, for me it was a pretty straight forward boss, but I imagine not being overpowered by levels change the fight. | ||

And I would consider what he is doing a speedrun anyway. Speedrunning isn't just about being perfect and finding/using glitches and such to beat a game as fast as possible, but also coming up with and taking on unique challenges and restricting yourself in fun ways. He is still trying to beat the games asap too. By what you're saying then, bingo and things like that aren't speedrunning either. | ||

QTF One thing I really like about speedrunning is the guys usually still have fun playing. Meaning they aren't dead serious about just making results. The challenges/races are a welcome break to watch between more classical speedruns. | ||

Speedrunning is about doing specific things as fast as possible. So various challenges fall under that category unless you don't even try which is the case here. No worries, I'm only active in the Japanese community anyway, with the exception of dropping by at cosmo's channel from time to time and the SDA marathons of course. | ||
