http://www.twitch.tv/samura1man Also as a note on why you should heavily test any game you want to speed run I just learnt you could block Xion's scariest attack in days...pretty fun knowledge to learn after you lose attempts to it. Edit: Just noticed that TSSB has 2000 followers congrats ^^

My mind is blown by how stupid that run was. I'm still laughing. :p It was one hour of skilled troll and broken japanese game. I recommend it when/if the speedrun is hosted on youtube or twitch.

Hard work, optimizing my run, and practice finally paid off. Feels good, man. + Show Spoiler + http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMVdbqDLeWw Nice run, grats man. .9 seconds ahead of cosmo's record, he commented on your video saying that. Some of the randomness of Keen is pretty fun to watch, keeps things interesting at all times. Relevant gif of course + Show Spoiler + ha, Cosmo is already back to Keen 4 as of a few minutes ago.

I think the time was somewhere in the mid 2:13's? I've been watching Stiv for awhile now, he's improved really quickly. Amazing to watch.

Good luck at keeping Cosmo at bay Seems like the record is very beatable considering some minor mistakes in both your run and Cosmos so this will be a very interesting game to follow during the next few days. Edit: Scariest part of the spooktacular at the moment - Real emotion in English...

Haha thanks! I didn't actually know that he started counting from inside the game, I thought it was from when he pressed start. He went into the frame data of the videos to figure it out, and I was a full second ahead. Good times. I'm still gonna try to beat it today - it shouldn't be that impossible. And yeah, I've been talking tech with Cosmo. There's a tight jump in Perilous Pit which is so hard to do that I need to just practice for a few hours. Not looking forward to it, but it saves like 4 seconds. On October 29 2012 21:05 Drazerk wrote: Congrats on the run. Edit: Scariest part of the spooktacular at the moment - Real emotion in English... Thanks, man! Yeah, it's easily beatable. The game has a habit of trolling the crap out of you, which is part of the fun, but it does mean that your best runs tend to get screwed over by the Random Number Goddess. All part of the Keen experience.

+ Show Spoiler + 4:28:37 post credits save 2 unintentional deaths on day 150 and on Leechgrave meaning sub 4:20 is possible but anything past that will require a god run. However the run basically sums up my best possible expectations for the run. All of the panels and shopping is just muscle memory now and I had worked out the fastest route to doing most of the days. Olympus wise I got perfect barrel luck so I doubt I will be beating those splits again and between myself and Xion we got a stupid amount of enemy freezes accounting to most of the time gained. While I'm waiting on my DS phat so I can record I'll be learning Riku's story for Chain of memories (Because Sora is a boring character(its also harder))

Number-SMW marathon is this weekend. Just look at the schedule damnit. IMO it's going to be the best online marathon of the year (which considering the competition, is insane). The proceeds are going towards helping people get to AGDQ which is a pretty good cause and saves people doing lots of personal fund-raising marathons instead. I'm not in this one at all actually but there's a whole lot of cool people there and amazing runs. (Number-SMW is an irc channel, so you know what the name means)

As for SMW the current Sapphire route is insane so if that wins the donation war it'll be one to watch (Watson / death warping / actually catching pokemon)

I'm sorry man, I forgot that you weren't in the topic, either. Flicky really needs to update the OP already. I've been badgering him about it but I don't think he reads PMs much. Drazerk Aylear Raelcun Raelcun, your "Mark of the Ninja" attempts are getting really good. There's some really cool tech there now and you're getting pretty consistent. I think consistency is the hard part of a MotN run, but at least you only lose a few seconds if you die. Speaking of which, Raelcun is online right now: http://www.twitch.tv/raelcun
