I'll most likely be at ESA this year. It'd be nice to meet you there.

I've been practicing offstream during the AGDQ runs I didn't want to pay full attention to and it's been going pretty well, so hopefully I can tackle this before the end of the month but we'll see.
I had the idea of tackling Twisted Dreams for a while now. But if you do Owlverlord, maybe I can try actually getting it to work on my PC. (Never played yet! Some crappy message about a missing .dll or something like that ) And then try to be a challenge for you
I have defeated the current Deus Ex run by a landslide. Got it down to 40:33.54, which defeats the previous world record by about a minute and a half (old WR was 42:04). I think that under 40 minutes is possible even in single segment, and I'm going to practice it until I get it. I think this run is a very good one, though.

its always worth attempting to make one and see what the interest is like.
UK wise I know Flicky has done several get together down south that have been successful and I think Talon was talking about a London based marathon at some point. I thought we barely had any English runners when I first started speed running and its been great learning I was wrong.

Planning to stream a TC:SO attempt with commentary - although I'm not really sure how well I'll do playing while talking. Will be on after Proleague - will update with stream link once it's up.
I too am also looking for new games to run, any ideas?
Go to Crystals for Life. Look into possibly going to SGDQ. Keep running HotS. Work on Mark of the Ninja tutorials. Rework the Chrono Cross route. Stream more.
Speedrunning is a lot of fun and I haven't messed around with it in a while... I used to go for MAME WR's on Twin Galaxy a few years ago and enjoyed that very much
How do you decide which game to speedrun? I guess just a game tha tyou enjoy enough to sink that much time into? lol
