I will be shooting people in the hangers and firestation. Anyone who wants to loot bodies for free gear should get on TL teamspeak and you can loot the bodies and get some sweet gear. though i read on the arma2 forums about something like "older computers might run arma2 better than new ones" because the game utilizes 2 cores better than 4 or something, but idk, maybe try installing the free version and see if its playable? (http://www.arma2.com/free) though keep in mind, i tried single player arma2 and had something like 60+ fps (compared to 20-40 in day z), lol.

Actually, you were the person that called out a particular play style as being "lame". I'm sure it was probably in a light-hearted way anways, so it's not a big deal. And, btw, I wasn't having a go at your style in my comment.

The thing is, I just bought Operation Arrowhead on ebay, but I am thinking about pirating Combined Operations as well. I feel like it'd be a much easier install if I could just install all the files from Combined Operations, rather than have half of it be pirated and half of it be legit.

I think you need a few things to make it a fun experience: 1. You need to play with friends on teamspeak/mumble or ingame voicet. I play with 4 other mates and its such a good laugh. 2. A stable server - thankfully we have found one that locks when its full. 3. Have a good bit of patience. Its an alpha, it has bugs.

I wonder how it will work out for me then. I bought Operation Arrowhead, but am thinking about pirating Arma II instead of getting the 1 GB version. After doing a bit of research, however, it seems like a lot of people who pirated the game aren't affected. Perhaps the people cracking the game simply bypassed it? Others commented saying that all you had to do was reinstall / apply crack and the game would be good as new.

Bohemia needs as much love as they can get, shit.
