Imagine a procedurally generated world(!) with towns and hills and seas and army bases and farms and everything, with thousands of people on at the same time, while you still only rarely see an actual human player much like you do right now. Edit: I signed on teamspeak first, joined server, die then someone instantly left the teamspeak channel... da fuck -_-. Not saying it was anyone on teamspeak just fishy | ||

But there will be some changes to playability brought on by the move from mod to game. Rebuilding from the ground up with the latest version of Bohemia's Real Virtuality engine (which was shown to great effect powering ArmA III at this year's E3) will also allow the standalone DayZ to have more diffuse nighttime lighting, rather than the practically unplayable near-pitch-blackness of the current mod. Confirmed and yes please! Arma 3 engine! | ||

Funny thing is as said in the description there was these big flames (guessing from a chopper crash) to my back and also up north. so 2 crash helis, 1 that was working which i took down and what amazed me was after the heli crashed next to it there was also a new heli (fully working) and I thought that server had a hacker in that was spawning helis so I immediatly left. | ||

It's never safe to be there, in fact servers with few people are more dangerous because hoppers will choose them more often. | ||
