After reading this interview, i noticed Tod's anger at allots of people in the wc3 scene. It seems a significant potion of gamers think he is bmed.
This might be fine on its own but remember what happened in WEG1 ? where Moon humiliate him in front all the TV audiences? Coincidence? nono...
In replay.net's star forums, susiria posted this in reply to some fan's bashing of moon for being bm to Tod:

by the way, let me tell you, Tod's manner is really bad, when he is in korea, he always ask people to help him prepare for match by simulating other gamer's styles but when some one ask the same of him, he always refuse and he was never polite while refusing. do not feel bad for him and don't talk when you don't know the true story. tod is not a popular guy in the scene and out of all the 4k guys, he is the least welcomed in korea. "
now i translated this from a chinese fan who translated it from the korean so i can't garrantee the consistency of the writing. But nonetheless this is very interesting, it just seems that koreans don't like Tod. Rumor or drama? discuss!

Uh, he hasn't been in Korea for a while, I don't see why it matters what Koreans thing (as opposed to anyone else). IMO the real ToD drama right now is his mass towering and claims that its the only/best way for him to win important games. Check out any ToD game on WCReplays and read the comments.
Pretty much anything ToD does seems to be bad with the community unless he wins something big, so I'm not surprised he doesn't think too highly of the War3 player base.
I personally don't care much about his manner, or that of any gamer really. He's a top level player and the best human right now and is pretty original in his play, so he's fine with me.

Why do you even care about ToD's manner? Are you ever going to talk to him? Let him play his game and leave it at that. With that said, he is still a top Hu player and obviously not the 80-60 win/loss rate of a player you claimed. If you don't like his style, don't watch his replays.

That title is still between Grubby and Moon. Both sides have certain claims to being called the best. Hopefully we'll see something resolved at WCG if Moon makes it.

i just thought this might be interesting to share, and i do care for a gamer's manner, bad manner make great headlines ^^, over there in RN, they have ten pages long threads discussing tod from everything such as moon incident to T.MH]mouzplaypb and now his latest interview where he let his mouth run.
You can say i'm rubbing salt on his old wounds but i just thought i might share some stuff from asian wc3 players which you wont get on wcreplays.

I used to play/obs a lot of games that ToD was involved in (mostly on hamachi) and for the record no one in those games liked him (most hated him). He has always been very BM, and always will be.

When ToD was in Korea he played a game vs Moon in which Moon let the game go one way too long, playing/toying with ToD rather than finishing it when he was dominating the game. At least, that's what I've gathered without having seen the VOD.

On Turtle Rock, Dark Ranger first hero, got to level six then charmed a peasant. Then managed to build a Human Alter and got an Archmage and Blood Mage. Doing all of this with about five expansion across the map.
This was a TV game as well, mind you.

Reread the comment or the interview.

well i love watching 4k.tod's play despite him having a rep of being bm, most of the time that stuffs bullshit anyways. hmm, i have just been recently watching war3 reps, and i want to see the vod where moon "humuliate's" tod, sounds unlike him. oh and btw, i dont think grubby has a chance in hell vs. moon. Moon is probably going to break the cap on how much any korean gamer has earned in prizes for a year. I think he has won every single major tournament this year. thats freaking amazing.

No but at WCG USA most of the WarCraft players went out to eat, and Brett D. was with us and after we bombarded him with questions and threatened to teabag him in his sleep if he didn't tell us, we finally got some answers.
I can't remember everything but I do know Moon and Grubby WILL be there. I think ToD will be too, but I could be wrong. I know Shortround won't be and I think he said no Americans will be.
We asked about the patch/reset, and he refused to answer, but it seems like it'll still be at least a couple weeks.

ToD is certainly good, for sure.
He is still popular in france cause of his achievements. I don't know if he is bad manner. On some forums, he talks quite well and i never saw him being arrogant, he is just a competitor, as anyone who reach top level.
Currently, he is the last french top level player and i thank him for that.
He is skilled, he won many tournaments, as i never play with him, i state he is ok.
In the interview, the thing i dislike the most was when a french guy comments that "france is the best country, france is the best etc..." and tod says "I would prefer to be anything else than French, I think". Two very suspicious reactions i think. High level Gaming is not a country thing, it is a skilled thing, that's, all whatever the nationality you have.
If you take starcraft, remember what has been said about mondragon, it is quite the same (BM ans so on). The important is that they are playing and representing their fans.
I just realize that i write that to finally say, i don't really care about mannerism of a player i don't play with or against.

Yep im angry at alot of people, these people are haters and retards.
The only reason why im considered this bm is because i express my opinions all the time on forums/ community website and ofcourse all the people who disagree with me won't like me after that. I'm like one of the rare players who still dare give his opinion on websites the others are too afraid to be criticized.
However i have alot of friends in korea i still talk to them and practice with them sometimes, and i have solved the trouble i had with Susiria long time ago in case none knew about that.
That story with Susiria is false, the truth is , my last groupstage game during WEG1 was against Jang Jae ho aka Spirit_Moon and i knew my chance to win was 1%. I was geting makeup before the game and the Ongamenet caster came and asked me " so are you gona beat moon?"
I found his question pretty funny , i laughed ofcourse and answered "Yes i'm gona rape him"
obviously none of them got the joke ( who said culture difference )

That's good that you aren't afraid to express your opinion. There ARE a lot of idiots in the gaming community, that's pretty obvious from these forums alone. So it would be silly to let what they say stop you from being yourself.
Anyway, interesting to hear your side of things. You should stick around these forums (or post more, as I'm sure you've been here before), you might find something interesting.

its rare to see one player who truly truly does not have some type of bm in him.. i think its part of being competitive.. now before anybody says trash to me be careful of the way i use the word BM.. .. i mean a lot of people are always nice and friendly but think in a bm way.. and thinking in a negative way is enough to be classified as bm lol
and TOd.. this idea of "oh people think im bm because i express my opinions" is really not true.. its not the fact that you express them.. its your opinion that make you bm.. meaning the way you think is what makes it be "bm"

the game was very similar to their game at WEG1 too, except madfrogs strategy worked a lot better
