Pits then hamper Hamilton to fuck costing him time getting caught behind Perez, manages to get past him after 3/4 laps then to top it off he pits fine and then vetell gets the luckiest break ever and gets a free 2nd place due to SC in the perfect timing. So annoying! No one should be allowed too dissapoint Nicole either ![]()

Damn, and Button was so lucky, Hamilton mistake with wheel spin at the start gifts Button the line into first corner, Hamiltons gives it him, Button rapes his tyres gets a lead, Lewis gets traffic. Even after the start Jenson was faster and building a gap to Hammy. Its true SC cost Hamilton sceond place probably but Button beaten him fair and square this time.

You didn't read the important bit, Lewis wheel spin cost him the race, it damaged his tyres to quickly, he complained about them before his first pit for a reason. Wheel spin and any slight hinderance on your tyres is CRUCIAL. Anyone can wheel spin on the start and that cost him the whole race due to button getting priority pits! Buttons race to lose, only time he had to race was off the start and after SC.

Just bad start and LACK OF PACE overall ![]() Hamilton conceded he could not understand where his lack of pace was coming from. "I really don't know, I just struggled out there," said Hamilton. "I got a shocking start which was really the beginning of it all. even if we assume that by "shocking start" he means wheel spin and damaging the tyres this doesn't explain the rest of the interview.

![]() And he wasn't that slow he had the 2nd fastest lap? or 3rd beating his pole position lap time of 1.29.995 beat that with a 1.29.885 or something during the race, Button did get the fastest with a 1.29.600 something?

![]() Lewis is a great driver. Over one lap, or even several laps Hammy is probably quicker one of the McLaren duo. Buttons strengh is his less agressive driving style is getting more life from pirrelis over a stint, and probably is more complete driver (experienced too). But there are tracks where looking after the tyres is less important factor. And he looked so dissapointed on press conference... right now i think his head is his main threat not Button or Vettel. He needs to stay cool even if few races dont go the way he plans

Red bull are quicker than people think, although it was hard to follow at the time due to FOM live timing not working for me I think they have a very similar race pace to McLaren. A sort of role reversal to the start of last year as McLaren appeared around 3/10ths quicker in quali trim, however you can see why if you look closely. They (RB) seem to have a slight tyre warming issue which resulted in Webber needing softs in Q1 and therefore only one run in Q3. Vettel on the other hand had no soft practice in P3 and admiited he made a big mistake on his final lap. If they had run as smoothly over the weekend as McLaren I feel pole would have been a much tighter battle. Tie in the fact that Australia is generally a McLaren track it seems as though they are pretty even at this stage. Also, Hamilton was faster in the race than it appeared. He lost around 3sec to Button in the first couple laps but matched him after. His first pit-stop was a disaster though, on the lap JB pitted Lewis' tyres were finished. He lost around 3sec that lap to Button and had to do another lap after this. He emerged around 11sec behind and in traffic and despite this closed the gap over the stint. The SC then cost him as we all know and he was destined for third. I thought Maldonado and Massa can count themselves lucky to escape punishment, I just hope it is a sign of greater leniency from the stewards this season compared with last. Vergne/Ricciardo also looks like it will be tasty, thought they both drove very well.

Also its much better track to indicate true order. On the other hand with the grid so close pace-wise the "order" will be so variable with every cars updates... SO COOL SEASON AHEAD!!!

The Mclaren guy thought it wasn't for cars behind but for people exiting the pit lane too.
