Too bad it's whoever has the most points at the end of 4 quarters. Bwahahaha.

warriors outplaying the bulls as of now! :D

warriors cant miss. and bulls on pace for 50 turnovers.

My pistons looked like absolute crap, but hopefully they pull a new-jersey and even out after an absolute nosedive of a start. I'm watching the kings vs. lakers game right now, and the kings are looking good. The kings, clippers and pacers are 3 teams I'm really excited for this year.

Hopefully Magic will get it together. They looked awesome vs Rockets but seriously, they need to get consistent. Like deadly consistent. And they need to beat top tier teams back to back.

The biggest problem with the Pistons right now, is that they are in limbo due to the ownership wanting out, and no good buyers are around. They need to feign a decent team, while they only have a few decent players, and a few developing players.
The good part is, if you completely ignore them this year, a few players like Jerebko, Munroe, Daye and Knight are developing into solid players, and Lawrence Frank should help speed that up, more than the Q did last year.
This 4th Quarter Portland team is a real upgrade from last year, Crawford, Matthews, Batum, Wallace, Aldridge. And then they can switch up Felton for Crawford or Matthews if they arent playing well, and Batum or Wallace for Camby if they need size.
What a sick team, just imagine if they had Broy instead of Crawford and an Oden with legs of equal length.

Bulls coming back and when Ellis makes something happen they call a bullshit tech on him rofl.

the bulls certainly like making things harder for themselves. for the first 2 games of the season it seems like they dont start playing until theres 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
edit: Didnt help that the warriors made all their shots either.

Meh, two first games of the season has more of a "League of Extraordinarily Sloppy Plays" feel to it than the NBA.. not feeling it right now, kinda makes me regret staying up till' 5am, which it usually doesn't :<

No need to stay up till 5am, for now.

my pacers absolutely out-toughed and out-hustled the pistons while having a similarly bad shooting night.
i'm pleased with how tenaciously our frontline played today.
also happy danny's handles have improved over the break

The grizzlies looked absolutely horrible last night. Can't believe that Gasol and Randolph combined for only 23 points that game.
What does everyone think of the Vasquez for Pondexter trade? I'm against it mostly because I was a huge fan of Vasquez while he was at Maryland. Also don't see the reasoning in getting another F when they trade their only experienced back up pg. Just my two cents.

Agreed that game was a lot of fun to watch. Better than Chicago making me angry with their 1000 turnovers.. Also Dalas looked even worse than vs Miami.

Understandable, I had exactly the same feelings as Williams while watching the Mavs game.

you also were exhausted to the point of throwing up after playing your first competitive game of basketball in two years?

I know, I just enjoy watching them live, makes it all the more exciting to me
Best quote I've heard since last night for me; "Derrick says he’s going back to being Derrick."
And I don't care if it means he'll take 25 shots a game (note; I would care if it was 25 jumpers, but if he's doing it like the regular season last year, it's driiive drive drive!), as long as it means we won't have to be worried when playing GSW.. And if OKC can live with 2 players taking more than 20 FG-A per game, then surely Chicago can live with 1 man doing the same!
Also, hate to start counting this, but Derrick Rose has played 53:55 so far this season without a free throw attempt ;D

I think it was a bad idea also. Vasquez as a backup was pretty decent. He looked good in the playoffs and is super young. Memphis did it because they lost Darrel Arthur for the season which was a huge blow to the bench, but you don't give away your backup PG and force Mike Conley into heavy minutes in a somewhat compressed season.
