herschel walker ran around 800 yards for each season in minnesota, and i don't think melo will stoop that low.

They were hovering around .500 (literally going over and under every week) pre-Melo, which is an amazing feat when you remember how shit their roster was entering the D'Antoni era. It's also amazing when you consider that most of the players the Knicks traded to the Nuggets, aside from DGall, have actually turned out to be pretty meh, which speaks to D'Antoni's ability to work with players who suit his system (the Q-Riches).
They were also hovering around .500 after like a disastrous 2-10 start. They were improving, and people had them entering the playoffs the way they were beginning to play.
But then they did the trade, and subsequently tanked.

I have a suspicion that the Bulls will play above their non-Rose level and the Heat will tune out a bit. Don't turn it off too quickly. :o

Blazers playing like ass. Knick defense has been somewhat energetic. Melo is passing very well. Offense is not nearly as dynamic as before; definitely looks like a Woodson offense. Bench's play is excellent.
