Warriors don't lose much from Ellis going IMO. Curry is more efficient and will work well with Lee and Bogut. Bogut's offensive game is fairly limited since his elbow injury, but he's still a double, double guy and one of the best defenders in the game. This is a big upgrade for the Warriors. For the Bucks...? Shuffling chairs on the Titanic IMO. Offense will likely be stronger, but defence will be terrible. Their C/PF rotation is now: Gooden, Brown, Ilyasova, Udoh, Sanders... They'll actually probably make the Playoffs this year which is the worst thing imaginable (lol East). More of the same mediocrity out Milwaukee way. It was time for them to move on from Bogut, no doubts about that, but this is the worst possible way they could have done it. They would have been better to wait until the lottery balls were plucked out and try then flip bogut for the highest top 8 or so pick possible (given stacked draft). Epic fail from Bucks IMO. GJ by Warriors. Bogut has been hurt a lot. It doesn't mean he's injury prone, but it can't be a positive. In many ways, the Bucks traded two players who contributed maybe 1.5 wins all season into Monta Ellis and Udoh. Bogut can't even play immediately because he broke his foot, right? Plus that elbow injury? Anyways, my suspicion is that the Warriors are tanking so that their lottery pick doesn't go to the Jazz at 8. It's a long term play, I suppose.

Bogut's elbow is what it is. He's made no secret about it and the Warriors would have known. It will never be 100%, but it doens't keep him from playing games. It has just made his hook shot and FT shooting less reliable. Monta is an overrated player for me. A true blackhole if ever there was one. The Warriors didn't get Dwight, but still got a comparable elite defensive anchor. Bogut's lack of offense won't be a big an issue with Curry and Lee. He can be the third/fourth option on offence which is better suited to him at this stage. The trade makes sense for the Warriors. Injuries are the X-factor going forward (Bogut and Curry). The Warriors will be terrible this year now and might be able to keep their pick now from the Jazz (is it top 8 protected?). If they do keep their pick and draft a strong swingman then 2012 is looking pretty strong: Curry Thompson/Pick Wright/Pick Lee Bogut

This is one of those great trades which won't benefit either team. is Bogut healthy yet? Maybe there's some expiring contracts. The biggest winner is Kwame Brown.

He wasn't even squared up with Bosh. Are you watching the same game? Reddick barely pushed off at all! It was all an act by chalmers! And he was right outside the line! psh

Marc Gasol's killing us. Kobe has "cartilage lesion/damaged cartillage" (is this right?) as well? Got the same unfortunately and normally i should stop playing but i can't, if you know what i mean. ![]() Sucks hard you need to be rich to afford a treatment which really helps. Most medical stuff is free over here but stuff like this isn't of course. Go mavs, Dirk's hot tonight! Don't really like their playstyle and the team, but you gotta love Dirk! ![]()

The beauty of this move is that it effectively keeps the 2012 first round pick in the hands of the Warriors. They have an actual vested interest in trading away current wins for future wins. That's to say, Ellis+Udoh is worth more wins than Bogut+SJax today - because neither Bogut or Jackson are playing >_> but Bogut is a better player than Ellis is and is positionally more scarce. I hate tanking in general, but this is not a bad plan.
