I loved Soul Calibur 2. SC3 was also decent but I slowly fell out of love with it when they removed Taki's EXC-Cancel. Lots of characters that were "fun" got nerfed to the point where everything that defined them was lost. Example, Taki was a medium damage pressure style character. She didn't hit hard but she was always in your face. Now she's a high-damage punish style. Where she waits for you to screw up and then takes away 1/3 your hp. Yawn. And SC4 is just broken. Quite honestly, I feel that since SC2 they've really dumbed-down a number of characters. Kinda disappointing. It had the potential to be one of the best (if not the best) fighters out there. It was so involved. | ||

 ) is my favorite game of all time. I was pretty disappointed by 3 on the PS2 and I skipped 4 completely, but I might just end up buying whatever console this is best on just for SC5. So exciting!Did anyone try the online play in 4? I've never played a fighting game online before, does it work? | ||
