Best fucking feeling ever 1-9 down to 4-11 half and still winning it back on CT side. One particular enemy kept saying how easy it was and shit talked all the way through. When it was 4v1 last round he ragequit. God that felt good.

I've come across more people that were fishy on accounts that had only 1 game and had less than 100 hours played. CSGO is such an inexpensive game (especially when on sale - and I hope they stop it lol); a lot of hackers can burn through accounts until caught.

It's not going to be a major detriment but a huge annoyance for sure for the hackers.

It might deter the people that use public cheats, but some private cheats cost way more than csgo. They're not afraid to spend tons of money on the game, so there will still be some cheaters, just look at r/vacporn.

Too much complaining. This is a necessary evil. Hell I think Rank 3 is pretty lenient; it should be something closer to Rank 5.

I ranked almost two accounts to Rank 3 in one night. If you do well in casual, coupled with the weekly XP bonuses, then leveling up takes barely any time at all.

It should be rank 5 for *new accounts* lol not for accounts with hundreds and hundreds of competitive games
Its simply exceedingly offensive to be told that ur account is too low level to actually play teh game you bought because valve decided that hundreds of games don't matter.

I don't think it should matter because 1) the grind isn't that much at all for one account, and 2) this deters people from smurfing on a handful of existing accounts and possibly hackers as well.

Nagi, for instance, has like 4-5 accounts. He has a lot of grind ahead of him if he wants to use more than one account to smurf.

I have a feeling Valve will raise the requirement once they deem enough accounts are at a sufficiently high profile rank to deter newer accounts more.

The ability to buy/sell skins/keys/cases is probably what allows for cs to be priced as cheap as it is. That and Valve is an awesome company.

Leveling to rank 3 is super quick and easy, if you play MM, which you cant. The only other way to do it remotely efficiently is trough buying the operation, which happens to be a terrible operation. Yesterday I wanted to have a quick game with my noobie friend, but unfortunately we couldnt play MM because he was only level 2. We played a few casuals, won 8-0 everytime, because casuals are mostly below silver level it seems. Was boring as hell, and you barely get any xp from it. The new system is a joke.

Only in competitive is exp based on total rounds won (to avoid people stealing frags/defuse/bomb plants to get a better score). Every other mode is based on your individual score. So if you don't kill a lot of stuff, you aren't getting a lot of exp. TBH no different than any other CoD game. You get shit for exp if you do bad in TDM/Domination etc.(I guess there's more random shit like ribbons or whatever else the fuck CoD gives you nowadays).

Also, the new operation is alright. You literally do make a portion of your money back the first week or two by just selling the cases you get. Or if you had steam wallet funds to begin with, you never spent a single penny if you could sell those cases.

Well... all the resolution discuss is entirely preference.

You can aim better on the old resolutions, but see more on the newer widescreen ones.

The stretch resolutions make you FOV smaller so it almost feels like a bit of zoom effect, but you can't see *shit* at long range. If you're a short range and midrange rifler, though, it may actually help your aim.
