EPTf0rest can awp alright when he is on his day but then NiP are missing out on his great rifling. there are consistent and stable awpers who you can generally count to not to miss the shot when they are holding an angle. skadoodle is a great example of the type of awper who would fit NiP well in terms of playstyle. they need to find someone who speaks swedish with similar awping style. there is not much time though, katowice is soon and the team of course wants to practice a lot before it.

I don't think this would've been made public if it weren't for the fact that rumours started spreading after Maikelele tweeted he was subbing for Orbit over the weekend. They ended up making some weird public statement that ends up leaving Maikelele in limbo to quell the rumours. NiP should still be attending Katowice with Maikelele unless they actually find a replacement in a month's time (not likely), also not many other candidates available. Kind of funny because it sounded like Orbit was about to make a statement saying they're going to pick up Maikelele, but after NiP's statement, they had to be like, whoops change of plans. | ||

Well they wouldn't tweet about his attitude problems because that would be throwing him under the bus and if they're not sure whether they want to keep him they would never openly admit to his attitude problems (which, like I said, probably aren't a problem). Anyway I'm no great analyst but I think Maikelele is fucking awesome and it's as good as it'll get for NiP, unless they can get a world class superstar AWP like JW which I can't imagine will happen. As for the consistency of Maiekelele, I think it's unfair to suggest that he's been inconsistent. You bring up Xizt who's inconsistent, he is. And he's not the greatest of fraggers either. He's no superstar. Then there's Friberg and Get Right who are superstars with some form of consistency but I'd argue not anymore than Maikelele since he's been on NiP. Especially Get Right, who's always good but in recent months has not been the monster he's historically been. I think that NiP is making illogical decision because the team was marked by the fact that it used to be the best team in the world. So now it's looking for solutions to be the best team in the world again. It's not trying to be better, it's trying to be the best team in the world. I think that may be the wrong way to go about it. The competition is a lot harder than it was when NiP was destroying everyone. I think NiP should be satisfied with being one of the best teams in the world, and work as a team to get better, and win championships. Frankly I don't believe than switching players around will do well. I think the target is unrealistic, and the means to get there are perhaps doing more harm than good. PS: I have been drinking a fair amount. Long story short, if you can't get JW, Maikelele is the next best thing. | ||
