There are actual aim deathmatch servers that let you practice, but expect to die way more than you frag if you're a newer player.
You can practice strafe shooting by using a dynamic crosshair and noting the times when it shows maximum accuracy. Get a feel for the timing and practice strafe shooting in deathmatch/aim servers.
The best advice I've ever been given is to deathmatch a lot. Don't worry about dying, just practice your aim as much as possible. There are even pistol deathmatch servers to practice on once you feel more confident with the rifles.

Also, contrary to some games like SC or Dota, playing against bots is actually a legitimate way of getting better in CSGO.
|
It comes down to how integral a particular skill is relative to game knowledge; in SC, practicing against bots is of limited utility due to how important reactions, map awareness, and situation specific micro are, things bots are simply terrible at testing. In CS, however, shooting skill is by far the most important aspect of progressing, with game knowledge taking a backseat to being able to crack off headshots at will.

Fuck with political correctness.
If someone is newbie you should be able to say it. Also if your high rank, your titled to be arrogant about skill. Its not like you have accidently got it. Haters will hate.
Btw, I am lowlevel myself I am GN3. I am not defending tofucake (I dont know him). I am also good mannered in games if someone is wondering.

I have some questions.
I used to shot while running, I learned that is a shit habit and realized that against most player I can just stop and be able to kill them first because they keep shotting while running lol. I know about strafe shotting, but I never know if I'm doing right, there is any way of practice this?
Also, there is any map like training_aim_csgo with moving targets?
Strafe shooting is the basically tapping the opposite direction, so strafing left with A, quickly release, tap D, fire and carry on strafing, repeating in quick succession. The quick press of the opposite direction brings your accuracy to near-perfect (as if you were standing still) If you just fire and strafe its the same as running. This can be done with Forward/Back as well as Left/Right.

No one is arguing that people should be banned from shit talking or pointing out how bad someone else is; what's being discussed is whether or not this is something people should do, and in terms of getting the most out of a team of differing skills, the answer is most definitely no. Right around DMG is where solo carries become much, much harder, and when one gets there and wants to be able to win games alongside teammates with obviously lower skill, it is always better to hold the shit talking and instead do your best to encourage them.
Back to Day9 though, I really don't think he'd care that people call his CS play bad lol.

also, Day9 is really bad at CSGO
It's the way you mentioned it. I mean when it's already established that it's his first time playing GO or whatever, what do you expect him to be?

Dude he just said day9 was bad, it's true, day9 himself was making fun of it, what the fuck, stop the butthurt. The stream was still very fun to watch (with lots of salt <3)

Have to agree with yamato, stop arguing about bullshit, being rude is being rude, no matter the circumstance.

If your talking to shit to ur opponents... thats mindgames. And if u cant deal with it, well then u got served.
If u say some random gamer sucks... He sucks or you are a cunt if he dosnt.

So, around 12-15 years old would be my guess, atleast mentally speaking. This is exactly the kind of people i don't like from CSGO.

Sports is always having respect for your oponent. Talking shit about your oponent isn't mindgames, it is disreputable. Same thing with thrash talking in SC, especially while ingame. Learn some respect.
To the day9 discussion: I don't think it was meant to be rude or elitist at all.

I disagree. It's a competitive game, if you can put your opponent on tilt by talking some trash, then you should use it to your advantage. In actual sports athlethes try to intimidate eachother all the time, trashtalking is just the internet equivalent of this.

Michael Jordan is often called the best basketball player of all time, and was considered a role model for kids. Believe it or not, he did plenty of talking on the court. In fact, it's a large part of what he's known for. He'd remind his opponents just how bad he was beating them, and then keep on doing it.
Not sure what this has to do with the Day9 thing though, calling him bad for getting ranked 3 stars on his first time playing it is just laughable.

That bad behavior is used in general is not a pro argument for this. Humans like to harm each other for some reason. I know that a lot of professional athlethes do this. That doesn't make it good. A competition is about what the competition is about and not about some extra trash talk you can do in ghetto's with no ruleset.
I respect top athlethes for how good at their sport they are. But I don't respect them as a person as soon as they do something like that. Hence, I don't care for Micheal Jordan.
