The kill reward is the only thing that makes the p90 a stupid weapon. It was a good 2nd-3rd round weapon in source. Now its amazing.

Forgive my ignorance, I've only recently bought CS:GO and I've only played a few maps so far.
My question:
Is there something equivalent to #findscrim in CSGO yet? Or do you simply get 5 players and the MM ingame works well enough? I really miss being able to quickly and easily find decent competitive play. I used to scrim a ton in 1.6 when I was bored with friends.

I believe ESEA (they have a website) is currently the most popular way to find pub scrims and match make at this time. The catch is from what I gather their community can be a bit rough and it is a paid service. (~7$/month??)

my problem with the p90 is it nearly ruins your chances of coming back during an eco round. pistols are no match against that gun it's ludaa.

I am seriously starting to love this game. Coming from a competitive CSS background, I hadn't played in about 4 years. 7 hours into playing it according to Steam I've just had my first accusations of blatant walling and aimbot. I feel right at home.

Yeah it is a shame that people are accusing someone of hacking if they are simply playing better than them.
Same happened to me during a free to play weekend in MW3 (was into competitive cod4 for a long time as well as cs 1.6).
This and getting votes makes playing CS:GO a pain sometimes. But it's definitely a good game ^^ Just wish for more maps!

This week's map in ESEA league is Aztec.. and initially we were all groaning about it. After doing some work on this map and ironing out strats and and nade positions... I dunno, it feels great to be playing Counter-Strike again.
Once again, I know I say it a lot.. if you're on the fence about this game, approach with an open mind and give it a solid chance.

Yesterday I bought the Xbox 360 version and it really isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was under the impression it would be a terrible PC to console port, but it has actually held up fairly well. I only wish Valve would update the console versions like they do the PC version.

The patches for xbox has to be approved by microsoft before they can go live, there might also be a fee. So patching xbox is a pain, when on PC you patch whenever you want to.

I have a few question about cs:go.
I have played it for a few days now, and starting to get the feel for the different weapons in the game.
Does the ELO system up and running now?
Does getting team damaged/team killed hurt your ELO etc?`
Is AK47 and Deagle still 1shot headshot from cave to A spot vs armor+helmet on dd2?
Some say terror run faster than ct, is this true?

ELO really doesn't make any sense. It has no impact on who is on your team and who isn't in a matchmaking game.

Is it just me or does the Zeus x27 just seem broken? The range is extremely short, to the point where you can literally only shoot within two feet of you. Additionally, 50% of the time when you actually hit them with the taser, it doesn't kill them (or do any damage whatsoever). You can literally see the electrical arc hitting the other player, yet no damage is dealt. I really hope Valve fixes this 'bug,' if that's what you would call it. Does anyone else want to see the range of the Zeus x27 increased?

Yes there were "better" guns.. my point is not that the p-90 is too powerful... but rather its just too easy to use and resembles the p90 in COD.
I guess my real point is shoot+jump and run+shoot is too accurate or not enough recoil with p90

It's more of a shame to me that people would call me a hacker considering my actual skill level. I'm fairly solid, and pull off some amazing crap sometimes......but I would get my butt destroyed in high level competitive matches. Those guys are pulling some ridiculous stuff off these days. If someone spectates ME, and calls me a hacker(it WAS a really, REALLY nice 180 degree flick awp noscope headshot, in their defense) then........they just have no idea just how amazing people can be at this game, and are missing out on some really beautiful play.
