It just doesn't play as smooth as 1.6 but i guess thats also server related. | ||

The hitboxes in this game conform to the models more so than any other version of CS, so they are smaller and harder to hit, but the actual hitboxes register fine. Spraying is definitely harder, especially for medium/long ranges but something that I'm more comfortable with ever since I approached the game with a new mindset. The guns aren't going to work the same way as their 1.6 counter-parts. I treated each weapon as a new gun and relearned their recoil patterns, and that increased my enjoyment of the game way more as I was actually able to get bullets to where I want them to be, instead of thinking reg/recoil is broken because I used the weapon in the same way as I would've done on the 1.6 version. | ||

CS:GO is seriously fucking up my pc the last 2 days  I used to be able to alt+tab no problem, now the screen turns black and I have to alt+tab+del. Half of the time, 5 sec after this the game crashed and my whole screen turns fuzzy, I can read stuff in this browser ok but it hurts me eyes... have to restart pc every time | ||

I actually played a bit of 1.6 back in the days but I kept losing and got frustrated. What my Starcraft 2 experience has taught me since then is learning and studying. Even though it seemed less intuitive to me that Counter Strike was also a hard game that needed proper effort and studying, I watched some videos and read some tips. Helping me good so far ! The one thing I have difficulty to embrace though, is how the CS community is working. I have no idea if there is something big and centralized such as Team Liquid. Also, even though I got a full time job, finding a team and playing seriously for a few hours a week is really appealing to me now... goodgame guys | ||
