Unless Guardian shows up bigtime against Astralis(very possible actually, he has been looking gooooood). I don't think Navi will beat Astralis in a bo5(finals is Bo5 right?). I believe it's a best of 3. Nonetheless Nv was only very briefly "unquestionably" the best team in the world and that was many months ago before the Fnatic era, they dropped down from there over the second half of 2015 or whatever but this current slump is 1 or 2 notches down from where they were even in late 2015. Late 2015 Nv was not at their peak, now they're at their worst probably since the LDLC days, despite global esports cup that they won - it wasn't the highest level of competition. Yeah, nV was super bad late 2015, where they won the last major against the second best team in the world
nV so bad.
They have been in a slump for some time, but come on, you are being a little too extreme

They have been in a slump for some time, but come on, you are being a little too extreme I said they were not a their peak in late 2015, where are you getting that "super bad" and "so bad" from, you lunatic? I was making conversation, and now you're distorting what I'm saying to the point of making a caricature out of yourself and it comes off as trolling. Try to be honest when you try to characterize what I've been saying please, or make an effort understanding what you read.
The slump I'm referring to is the very clear drop in consistency SINCE late 2015, when they won the major. You're the one who's saying Nv has been slumping for a long time, so we're not even talking about the same thing. I think they were pretty good in late 2015 though despite winning the major they were less consistent than they'd been in early 2015, I recognize it's debatable. I think their results in 2016 have been bad, and they know that, everyone knows that.
There's literally nothing extreme in anything I've said. Not even close. It's to the point where your reaction to what I've said leaves me completely dumbfounded.

Yup, late 2015 was a strange period. nV were clearly not as good as they've already been, but no team was really there to contest their form at that moment. Fnatic only caught up to their dominant form right after the major.

i may have gone a bit too fast in accusing happy and kennys being the main responsible of this, but i'm honestly amazed at how far nV is falling
how is it even possible ? i mean a top team, even in a slump (here it's far more than just a slump) has some tactical discipline that will maintain them way above average
and yes, i still think that kioshima is the scapegoat of what i would call the nV's malaise

Man Flamie's aim is absolutely insane, Guardian can play with so much less pressure now and that makes him scarier to.

The main thing I notice about his play compared to when he was just good aim but not scary + Show Spoiler +(kinda like Simple in a way) is that his positioning after he gets the first frag has gotten alot smarter, its very clean and less impetuous. Before he would just keep dueling. And the even scarier part is on the rare occasion he isnt in a good position he fucking just flicks across the screen and still tears someones head off. And these arent pubsters these are some of the best.
Its just so fun to watch.

he plays with a lot more of confidence, it's quite a pleasure to see him in action
