Because to CoE something you have to rewrite how the game treats the mechanic so that it treats it the same for old and new items. Which isn't really possible when ur nerf is just a numerical change to proc rate on mjollner for example. Although you could add a brief CD to discharge/arc I guess but thats dumb as fuck ofc. | ||

tree shows acro/phase acro, EV/176% life, MoM, ondar's guile, tons of crit chance/multi, proj damage and AS. Plan on going for physical, and auras will be herald of ash + hatred Only key item will be good daggers and lightning coil I do worry about trying to run MoM. I will have some mana stuff on tree but it's not the typical huge mana pool for MoM. I did purposely get the 2% physical mana leech node though, and I might try to grab some other mana leech on tree. In fact mana in general will probably end up being a secondary focus on a lot of my gear. has anyone ran a build like this? if so, opinions on hardcore viability? I am trying to force MoM into the build because I know that people are gonna need to have crazy defenses to survive in this league my backup plans are like a blood magic/RF/tanky as shit lgoh cycloner, or a RF/tanky as shit fire discharger Also, an important question: Is vaal pact a necessity for spectral throw crit? | ||

With ondars, acro, CWDT-IC and lightning coil I don't think you need vaalpact. But I've never done crit spectral daggers, so I wouldn't know, the only thing I've heard about that type of build is that daggers are expensive. | ||

I played a 2h crit Sword Spectral Throw guy in the beta and he's pretty much all dmg (standard, duh. means ~140% Life and nothing else). I recommend leveling with something else, like Static Strike, since Spectral Throw is rather weak earlier. If you played the beta you wouldn't need any of it and be fine without Vaal Pact, lol. I have 24k dps Static Strike / 6k dps GMP Spectral Throw (not very high for my offensive spec, but my Sword isn't very good either and it's just 4L) and didn't manage to die to reflect with Granite/Pots. | ||

so then static strike > 2h spectral throw for leveling? Maybe I'll just party and leech off others, I am not looking to rip while leveling because I desync while meleeing ha | ||
