Assuming talisman is a 3 month league, ascendancy should be mid-march

There usually is a 2 week break between leagues, so yeah I could imagine it to be the same here. Last time they said they're ahead of schedule, so I think it's likely.

Thanks guys. For Ascendancy I might come back to my summoner, though from what I can tell GGG hasn't bothered fixing them since I stopped playing.

From what I can tell the new Golems only affect your character with their buffs, not your summons. Is that right?

Also, these cards... they drop from specific bosses. So are the drop rates for them like 0.001%?

Divination cards you mean? most of those are not restricted to bosses, only a few. But yes, some have exceedingly small droprates.

Is there a repository of ascendancy information? Like the site they had for awakening? Wan't to figure out what build to do as information is released. Been wanting to make a melee build work but the state of melee in this game is like permabad. I assume chaos damage conversion builds are gonna take a hit as well.

Well, I like the sound of all the melee ascendancy classes the best I think, mainly all the duelist ones. Hopefully there is a 'real' melee skill that gets some buffs to make it strong D:

Of course, 1400 isn't THAT far off of average I wouldn't think considering the vorici recipe is 1500 and "a little worse" than just doing it by RNG (which I'd guess puts the expected number at 1000-1200?)

Personally I'd be seriously inclined to just buy a 6L for the currency at that point, considering even premier unique 6L's go for about 10ex anyway (except shavs

). Then again, hindsight etc

I 6Led twice, once I 6Led a Cloak of Defiance (legacy) in the end of a temp league, and once I 6Led a fairly legit evasion body armour on standard when I was bored :S. That said, both times it was while trying to 5L. I never attempted 6Ling before, and probably never will. My highest amount of fusings I collected in a temp league was like 800, but all self found and with Vorici.

I agree with Sn0_Man, better buy a 6L unless you feel extremely lucky.

6L is only worth it if you're that one dude who had magical 6L powers last year (on reddit) or on some sort of super high tier/ build enabling unique IMO

But everyone has to try 6L'ing sometimes ^_^

I cashed in a couple of exalts early this league to 6 link the shav's I had drop for me a couple of days in, got it in 28. (Okay, to be fair, I had sunk about 200 random fuses into it by that point.)

Satisfied with that I divined it once and got 191.

IF you want to fuse your own six link I would highly suggest you burn through your Whetstones and Scraps while doing it. It increases your chances of a 6L by around 100% as stated by the lead guy himself.

In either case though it's flat cheaper just to buy a 6L of the item you want even in temp leagues.

It's a shame that ascendancy will launch in the middle of my exchange semester, where I won't have much time and would have to play on a laptop.

I was also expecting GGG to have shown more ascendancy classes by now.
