I think we all know the real finals are tomorrow now. I think Madrid is definitely the best remaining team and should be able to take it tomorrow. The skill difference isn't that huge though and they are starting from behind, so it's going to be tough. I think if they make it through, it will be a very one-sided, disappointing "final" versus Chelsea.
I was so worried about missing the finals because I was moving that day, but now I guess it won't be like I'm missing much.
I'm still very excited for the game tomorrow. I wanna see La Liga clench both Champions and Europa. Vamos guys, crush those Portuguese/German/English!

lol? You really think that Barça played better? Don't forget that modern football is 70% tactic, 20% showoff, 10% luck. Tactically speaking, Chelsea did their game. Barcelona's plan couldn't just break it. I'm sorry for your dreams of seeing UEFAlona once again on the Finals, but that's not gonna happen. Live with it.

Cesc is cursed. This proves the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

When Terry got the red card I was like wtf?! none of the Chelsea players made it a big deal, Cech came up and told Terry to GTFO, everyone left gave 120% or more and people like Ramires and Drogba showed they were men of big matches. This was not the first time but when you can't afford to roll around Drogba goes into man mode. Di Matteo is one fricking promising coach.
This wasn't the first time from Terry but I think they need to seriously think the captaincy thing over.
From Barcelonas side it wasn't all that unexpected, yeah they got a bit unlucky if you can call it that but there were both tactical and personal shortcomings. Although he missed the penalty it's hardly justified to blame Messi. There are no one-man teams in football.
I'm pretty pumped for the finals already, chelsea is missing a lot but they must be driven like crazy after this feat.

So you think that Chelsea played? I think they were walking around the area all the game, well except Drogba and Torres that Run a little bit.

I'm still very excited for the game tomorrow. I wanna see La Liga clench both Champions and Europa. Vamos guys, crush those Portuguese/German/English! I second this, although one might argue that if you can't score; you're not accomplishing the primary goals of the game, thus do not deserve to advance. Inofficially though, I think it's hard to argue that Chelsea is a straight-up better team than Barcelona. Even though the defensive feat of their second half tonight is commendable, the ultra-turtle style in which they do it is uninspiring and boring to watch. Of course it's strategical, but I'd much rather see the magic that Barca produces when they're going offensive than when Chelsea are doing the same. After all, I think it's pretty obvious that agressive football has a million times higher entertainment value than defensive football.
As far as tomorrow goes, whoever wins will have a way easier time in the finals than they will in the semis. My gut tells me Real will come out on top ever so slightly, but I'll be cheering for Bayern. Regardless, I wouldn't have called Chelsea to take out either team in a potential finals before today's games, but with all the players prohibited from playing now, I can't see it happening. Sure, one might argue that the same was said before their games against Barca, but coming into the second leg with a 1-0 lead, I wasn't all that surprised in the end. In a single-series finals, with their current conditions, I can't see Chelsea taking the cup this time either. Sorry all Brits.
Now gogo Bayern, I believe in you

Thank God Chelsea won (I support Arsenal so I'm very unbiased) time for people to stop thinking 80% possession, and 6(7) midfielders and 95% pass accuracy makes you unbeatable and "the better team". Hopefully Bayern win too and sometime in the future La Liga will stop giving 400M of their 500M rights to 2 teams alone so we can have some actual competition in that desolate league.

Heres a statistic. Messi, Penalties 1.. goals 0.
I have a much better, analytical, historical and contextual understanding of this game then you will ever have. I cannot find any reason to fault Chelsea, luck ? Sure they had it, who doesnt get some now and then. Were they extremely lucky ? Yea sure. But dismissing a team that held out for more than a half football with a man short against the best incisive threat in the world regardless of how they did it is praiseworthy. They are not as good as Barcelona so they use the tools at their disposal to graft a win.
It is simple conventional wisdom. Im not making this up. Sometiems the stars have to align for teams to make it and they did on this occasion for Chelsea. You cant win everything as much as I personally would like that to be the case. Its better to be introspective then say.. "Son of a bitch they got lucky" . so how about take the smartass comments somewhere else ?
That having been said the lack of grace and humiltiy amongst people hating on Barca is disturbing, appalling even.

Sky Sports reported that Terry claimed Sanchez had 'checked his run' which caused the Chelsea captain to shift his weight onto his back foot, which in turn resulted in the defender's knee being raised into the Barcelona forward's back.

Barca needed the loss more than the win. They needed to be knocked down a peg or two!
Also if players like Sánchez and Sergio Busquets stopped rolling around like a bus had hit them after every tackle and just tried to play on it would make me personally repsect them better and probably alot of others.

Considering the defensive line of Chelsea was Bosingwa and Ivanavic who are actually fullbacks, I thought they we're pretty good yeah. I thought Torres was actually a liability before he actually stuck the ball in the net.
What a game, crushing if your Messi.

Replays clearly show Sanchez coming to a stop and Terry moving foward to knee him. Terry's an idiot and a liar. This shouldn't surprise anyone.
