Watch Man U v Chelsea 3-3 or Arsenal v Chelsea 5-3. Give me a more exciting game Barca has played all season plz.

Spot on, he was really good. Well he wont be allowed to ref the finals, if Munich get into it.

Others enjoy a team's strive for perfection and how they pick apart the opposition with superior skills. Hate to use this cliche, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Exactly my thoughts. The match can indeed be boring, but to blame that on Barça and not the one that parks the bus is a heavily biased attitude. Barça has played wonderful matches with teams that dare to confront them head-on (vs Athletic, and Betis last year are clear examples).

I love people complaining about chelsea playing 'boring', it worked and thats what matters tonight. I was entertained (at the final whistel )

If that's your argument, I'll watch a Scottish game with a ending score of 7-6. Hey lots of goals, lots of headless chickens running around on the pitch, great game.
Like I said; it takes two teams to play a great game. Sad thing is that EVERY team plays with 10 players behind the ball against Barça. There were glimpses in this match as well where they got a little space where it was superfast-paced so they could definitely play a game like that. To play a game like that though, Chelsea (and every other team they play against) need to try to make it entertaining as well.
Claiming Barça's style is boring is simply an invalid argument because the other team always kills the match.

I mean when Messi dribbled past Meireles for the upteenth time at some point, Meireles did everything he could to kick him to the ground but couldn't even reach him. Then Terry steps in and drops him. Anti-football at its finest.

I just can't wait until next week. I can only dream of both RM and Barca being knocked out of the semi's. The tears from all of the La Liga fans will be absolutely priceless...

Very unhappy for result, happy for the overal Barça performance. Some not precise definitions cost a game to Barça almost usual. Its funny , how people say well played to Chelsea, i mean alright, everyone enjoys what he enjoys, but you must be pretty tasteless to football in general to say that Barcelona playstyle is not The culmination of football as a game. I dont give a frack about result lately, i just enjoy the game of the best football team play, TEAM play note that. I think usually if Barcelona scores first the chance of another team winning is pretty damn slim, but if not, its usually like what we saw today, another team just trying to hold to the result with all-in-defense.

I feel like chelsea figured out barca, barca likes to keep the ball and wait for the defenders to chase them and make a mistake, but chelsea played patiently and didn't do many mistakes that barca could exploit. Maybe not the most exciting game but cool see someone show how to beat barca nevertheless.
Oh well, winning in a rainy London is one thing, on camp nou another.

Well maybe if Barca stopped playing such douchey tactics other teams wouldn't need to resort to that play to neutralise them. Teams in liga BBVA literally build their teams to be able to counteract Barcelona, they play regularly against them and they have a lot of players who match up well with them, not to mention play them multiple times every season. In the EPL there is a need for more physically impressive players, not just 11 skill players, and you can't just drill your team repeatedly to be able to defend against Barca when there is only a small chance you will have to play them. Although Man U have started to do that it seems.
Also in terms of going to watch a 7-6 Scottish game, what I think makes an entertaining game is two teams with equal high quality players playing attacking football and going from end to end. That recent 4-4 game in the german league was awesome for example. I don't know, things just happen more often in EPL games. Even the 1-1 games to me are more interesting than watching barca curbstomp a team 6-0. I'll admit that some of the games they have played have been okay, especially the ones where they are made more vulnerable, but meh, nothing compares to the calibre of the many awesome EPL games this season. Also I watch a roundup of all the BBVA games every weekend and I have watched 50% of the RM and Barcelona games this season so I am not completely ignorant of that league.

True, the rage will be strong enough to power a small all-terrain buggy.

I think more of the hate you see towards Barca/the Spanish national team isn't their play alone - obviously they play an incredible game. It's the personalities/diving/theatrics/endless money that just buys a great team/etc. that come along with it. It's just hard for a lot of people to really put their finger on it and describe exactly what turns them off, so they come up with some pretty sub-par explanations for their dislike of Barca.

If you wanna moan about 1 shot on target being a goal, just try to remember whether you were moaning when your 1 shot on target goal got you to the final in 09.

Barca's finishing tonight was pissed poor maybe it was caused by weather or they just suck today. Whatever the case is they should be only blaming themselves.

Well during the game i heard comentators discusing the fortune of Abramovich and how many money he put into Chelsea for example, that the obvious money examples, or like the Team cost of Real Madrid. As for FC Barcelona, well, its made from Masia 80%, and La Masia was a long term project that didn't kick in untill like 7-8 years ago. Name me another football club nowadays who winning cups relying that much on they own grown players, money, nothing to do with game in Barcelona. Obviously they income is insane, and they will buy to remain where they are to gain more, but hey that the curent trend in every single aspect of moder life if you ask me.

This. So many times.
I personally get very entertained when I see such great defenses. Chelsea really held well tonight, against a pretty good Barca. The result was pretty lucky nevertheless, but that's football.

Barcelona just had a bad day when facing cech. This are the tipe of games that against madrid or barca can end 0-0 , 1-0 or 0-6. If you check all Barcelon and Real madrid games (draws and looses) you will see that 90% of them involve 1 lucky goal from the other team and the attackers just plain failing to score. So it will all come to accuracy in the camp nou. Its gonna be 0-0 , 1-0 or 9-0 depending purely on the players who get the chances for Barca.
