wow that last chance was ridiculous... chelsea played very well overall especially defensively. barcelona was very unlucky not to score 1 or 2 or even 3 goals this game. gonna be tough for chelsea to finish them at camp nou, but it's very very possible!

Mourinho always said, you can beat Barcelona without the ball, totally agree with that statement. Also id like to add, that was probably the best referee the champions league has had, even Webb was good last night but this german is great. Think he should defo ref the final whoever gets in it. As both ties are open.

You can like it or not but Tiki Taka style gives you 3 things:
-Great ball possesion (therefor if the opponent does not have the ball they cant score)
-A lot of chances to score.
-Huge physical work for your opponent (if you check all of Barcelona's game , at some point , their opponents start to melt because of running for the ball all game long)

Oh I know exactly how effective it is. It's wonderful, it works 100%. It's just fucking boring and a piece of shit tactic. I use it to piss off people when I play against those who annoy me on fifa lol.

Its like the English whining when the west indies got their fastballers. in the 80's Just cant handle people evolving a game beyond what they know. "We cant do it" its not the right way to play.

Well seeing as we did one of the original 'changing the game' examples in cricket aka bodyline,there's no point using a cricket example. I disagree completely that Barcelona are playing an evolved version of the game, they are just playing an upgraded version of total football, with a bunch of nippy, small, talented guys with low centres of gravity.

I honestly think that the only reason this is working so easily is the quality of xavi, messi and iniesta. I think without those players in the team it would just be 'another' tactic.

I'm not blind to Barca's dominance, we honestly got lucky today!

By that logic someone who has won 1 game on sc2 and lost 0 is better than someone who played 10 and lost 2. Goals isnt be only way to measure how well you played teams that play better actually lose all the time in football it's part of the game.

Well, Chelsea have kept Barca goaless at Camp Nou before, so it's certainly doable. They just need Barca to be as wasteful in front of goal as they've been tonight.

Did you really expect anything else though? Even though I don't like watching games like these, you have to understand teams like Chelsea don't stand a chance unless they play this way. If I were a player/manager, this is exactly how I would play vs Barca, regardless of whether it butchers the game or not. They have a duty to try and win, and they did. You have to respect that.

Ugh. One wildcard chance one goal and all the luck in the world. One can only hope that Barca sets this right in Camp Nou because Chelsea's play was the most boring type of play in the world.

I can't understand people that call Barça's play boring in any sense of the word. There are 2 teams needed to play an attractive match. Chelsea murdered the match and got insanely lucky that Barça didn't score 2 or 3 goals.
