Well seeing as we did one of the original 'changing the game' examples in cricket aka bodyline,there's no point using a cricket example. I disagree completely that Barcelona are playing an evolved version of the game, they are just playing an upgraded version of total football, with a bunch of nippy, small, talented guys with low centres of gravity.
I honestly think that the only reason this is working so easily is the quality of xavi, messi and iniesta. I think without those players in the team it would just be 'another' tactic.
PS regardless of how effective it is, it is JUST BORING to me. It's only my opinion so you don't have to get too worked up about it.

shooting from 30 yards out wont beat a world class keeper most of the time.. youve created a few chances but the angles have always been cut down and you didnt create any clear cut chances.. i recon a lot of your shots where poor free kicks

Yea you were also responsible for Reverse swing and doosra's and googlies. All of which were "bad" for the game till you could do it. Body line is flat out cheating. Its not designed to win the game. Its designed to hurt people. Thats not an innovation its an abomination. The west indies didnt ball bodylines (sure bouncers and real hot stuff but not that negative legside shit your calling an innovation.)

As Chelsea having better chances I dont know what game you guys are watching.If they win they deserve it, mostly because of Barca's inability to put it in the net.
