When every other player tries to chip over the keeper, it will usually go slightly above the post or straight to the keepers hands, and you will think "oh,that was a good attempt". With Messi, it's more like, Messi tries to chip, Messi scores. rofl
Yeah, I rarely saw him do chips with his right foot similar to that of the Leverkusen match. Can't help but wonder how devastating he'll be in 4-5 years if he manages to master his right foot . kinda scary thought.

My reaction was a wholehearted wooooooooooooooooow at least.
I totally agree. Was a sick goal.
The fact that the little beast make insane plays every game and we are so used to saw him, doesn't make those slightly closer to average.
I went to watch Geneva's local team today, Servette, they were a bit rubbish but you can stand, drink and smoke in the stands and the atmosphere's alright if you go to the right bit. I might start going more often.
The leagues pretty sick. Neuchatel being below FC Sion who are on -1 point as Neuchatel no longer exist..

Battle of the riches! Come on Chelsea, can we keep our good form up against Man City, we were the first team to beat them this season back in December, can we toppled there title bid with a win at there place?

Question, why wouldn't they have an ambulance on call at the stadium? At every professional sports game in the US they have an ambulance at the stadium for situations like this

They do, ever since the Petr Cech incident.
I'm pretty sure they do have an ambulance on call. but the paramedics needed to try and resuscitate him first. Also i know most stadiums have a special entrance for emergency vehicles to come on straight onto the pitch but i guess White Hart Lane doesnt have one...

Think they had it before that as well mate. Pretty sure was a 90s thing, used to see them in the old stadiums. But yeah they spent 10minutes on the pitch trying to revive him, rushed him off into ambulance still trying to revive him (according to reports) wasn't breathing until he was at the hostpital (again according to reports).
Another report i read today it was 2hours until he was breathing again, but i clearly doubt that. They would of gave up by then im pretty sure, unless they have valid reason not too.

It wasnt obligated before Cech, he had to wait around 20-30min in the dressing room and Mourinho (quite rightly) kicked up a shitstorm about it. I remember St. Johns always at Burnden back in the late 80's. As for WHL, yeah its an old stadium so I doubt it had direct access.

In my FM12 game, Neuchatel was bought out by some rich guy and is consistently in the group stages of the CL. D:
They did get bought out by a rich guy, he was a fraud.
Stricken Swiss football side Neuchâtel Xamax has slipped into near-oblivion, with its Chechen owner arrested just hours after declaring the club bankrupt. Bulat Chagaev was detained by authorities in Geneva, who had been investigating him for suspected fraud, for "financial mismanagement".
Hours earlier, Xamax said they would file for bankruptcy, then were formally declared bankrupt by a court in canton Neuchâtel. The two-time Swiss champion will drop out of the Swiss Super League midseason.
Xamax's season of turmoil on and off the field entered a terminal phase last week when the Swiss League revoked their license because of suspected fraud and a failure to prove they could meet its financial obligations.Their debts are estimated to be at least SFr8 million ($8.7 million).
Chagaev's arrest was requested by prosecutors in Geneva, where his trading company has an office. "His provisional arrest was ordered after a hearing held this afternoon. Another hearing is already scheduled for [Friday]," the Geneva authorities said in a statement.
Shortly before Chagaev’s arrest, his lawyer Jacques Barillon said in a statement that his client’s only aim had been to make the club prosper and not to draw any personal benefit from his ownership of the club.
Xamax's vice-president, Islam Satujev, also spent the night under arrest
My favourite bit of the story being
Now, Swiss media have reported that an important document was full of basic grammatical and spelling mistakes, prompting the move.
"The Swiss Football League has taken away Neuchatel Xamax's licence for participating in championships organised by the SFL," a statement said. "The disciplinary commission has reached the conclusion that the conditions for the license are no longer met due to the non-presentation of financial guarantees.
"The disciplinary commission is also convinced that the banking guarantee from the Bank of America was not provided by the latter."
Just imagning it saying "Banke of Amerikuh".
Surprisingly common in Switzerland, Servette only just got back into the 'Super League' a year or two ago coming off the back of going into administration after their chairman turned out to be a fraud. Servette's Marc Roger was a 4 year wait ro something after he fled to Spain. He claimed he couldn't be extradited due to 'Fear of Flying' now not only is Switzerland a LAND-LOCKED COUNTRY but the guy owned 4 private jets before he did a runner!
He was finally extradited a couple of years ago when he tried to con a former Real-Madrid chairman out of 3,000,000 Euros!
