Glados keeps insulting my partner and giving me false praise. Perhaps those insults and false praises are the truth For those people who are playing co-op, is it viable to play with a randomized stranger or would it be better to look for a Steam friend? I'd say, atleast half the fun from co-op comes from chatting with your buddy. The PC version atleast has built in voice support wich works quite well, took a while for my friend to figure out how to turn it off ingame, and I couldn't hear any difference from his skype or the ingame voice.

I tried to beat this in one day, but I couldn't. Glad the game is longer than the first one. It's pretty good.

Get a friend and set up a chat via Skype or Mumble or Vent. Makes for a much easier and enjoyable experience.

+1. I was gonna play with my friend, but I had work and he went ahead and played some co op levels. I don't blame him because it would be a while before we could actually play co-op a lot together. We played a few levels, and he just pinged where to put Portals...I didn't know wtf the fuck was going on.
When I actually get the time to revisit co-op, I will post in here if anyone wants to run through it with me. Don't worry about me knowing the puzzles because I hardly did any and I didn't know what was going on for more of them anyway. =]

Portal 2 is kinda like an extended version of Portal 1. More levels, a few more toys to play around with. Same difficulty. I finished it in 2 long sessions, total play time probably around 14 hours - was totally worth buying

If anyone is looking for someone to play co-op with hit me up with a PM.

I played a couple hours of Co-op with a friend the other day and it was absolutely hilarious. I find the puzzles much more interesting with 2 people and the dialogue with glados is just really fucking funny. I would not play this with a random stranger, but a close friend as it just makes the gameplay more fun, and the first time will always be the best.
I love the idea behind this game, still haven't beat the single player as I don't have a lot of time on my hands but looking forward to playing it more.

kk p4NDemik and I are gonna be playing now. This time I won't have a dumbass teammate who can't make portals or a dumbass teammate who wants to go get pizza before finishing a level (when we're at the end) or a dumbass teammate who lags like all hell.
