I was hoping for a bigger Cave Story+ discount, so far it's the only daily sale I've been interested in.
They just patched it for the holiday sale. I don't know if that's the DLC/significant patches they were promising but apparently it has some bug fixes. I'm pretty sure that I'll get it for $2.50, especially because it has an achievement, and play it with a friend.
Also, as previously mentioned, Cave Story+ is in the humblebundle. That's a much better deal and you can give the money to charity and the developer rather than Valve.

I'm thinking about getting Rage, but I will probably save some money for DeusEx:HR

So im thinking bout getting EYE to play it as coop game with a friend. Any oppinions on that?
Also to anyone considering buying RAGE - save yourself the trouble, i love that wasteland scenario type of games and fps gender, but that game was just horrible story wise, gameplay wise and medicore at best when it came to graphic.

We were finally able to win by buying random carry items (what I assumed were carry items anyway) and then killing the enemy 2-3 times in a row and finally destroying their main base. Best way I would describe this game atm, would be to take all the worst elements out of LoL and Dota and put them into the same game. Or if I want to be nice, I'd say this game is still in alpha-testing stage. If I had tried this game without the prize, I'd probably be very angry at having wasted over an hour, but meh.
I just did it, took about half an hour in a random 5v5 game.

Inventories are probably bugged simply from the overload of people trying to get the achievement (just like on the first day).

I spent around 50 minutes trying to trade with someone from Giant Bomb and it would never load properly for both of us. It would either 503 error or load for one but not the other. So CS 1.6 is 50% ending on feb 2. i also got a coupon for any valve game -33%, but this one "starts" at feb 2. Is it possible to buy cs 1.6 on february the second for... 34%?

I heard Rage was very mediocre. Deus Ex is really fun so just go with that.

I got Rage and a few others today, and imo Rage is pretty fun.
Does very little new, but what it does it does pretty well.
I haven't experienced any technical issues yet either (fingers crossed for future)

Yup, just got it. Dunno how long that deal will last and am doubtful Steam will end up matching that price so I caved in. I pretty much have everything I wanted to get from Steam, but I didn't end up spending as much as I thought. Will still be looking for some deals in the coming days.
Also, it's way cheaper then on Steam right now ($33.50).

For people who still need your trade achievement thing, it's back up.
Can you buy borderlands goty from amazon and gift it to someone on steam? That's cheaper than the 7.50 that steam usually charges for borderlands goty and want to get it for a friend.
