The lore references are kinda esoteric though... if you just watched the movies and didn't read a lot of it will be unfamiliar. Silmarilion-level stuff.

I rather enjoyed it. It's not terribly difficult even at its toughest, and the endgame stuff is pretty crazy OP, but it's deeply satisfying and the emergent narrative generation is on-fucking-point. The orcs have gobs of personality, which is wonderful.

The game gives you plenty of ways to kill maybe 5-6 kinds of Orcs.
Sotry is ok but pretty irrelevant. The ~~game~~ FIGHTING starts to get really interesting after you beat most of the game because then even massess of enemies aren't impossible anymore but become a challenge. Chaining kills is rather hard at the beginning and becomes much easier as you unlock later tiers of skills (save some up for them!)
Completionism is not my thing so I diddn't do all of the "find item zyx and get a little lore for it" stuff.
Beat the whole game (DLC not included) in like 6-8 hours. Haven't completed the DLCs though. The fighting sure is nice and I had lots of fun beating the original game. After my current run I'll tackle the "Bright Master" DLC fully.

Definitely worth the 5 bucks. Though I don't think much of it is canon.

The game is pretty fun, endgame is fun and the nemesis system is a lot of fun

it is still essentially batman the game in the dark age

I dont even remember the final fight but I do remember slaying many many orks and having a lot of fun doing it. I actually preferred this to the batman games

I'm not looking for AA(A) games in the hunble bundle (not counting the monthly).
Games like FTL that I got from them are just soo good. But lately there wasn't much appeal in the bundled games for me personally. Not saying the games are crap, just not my taste. That could've been said more clearly.

In fairness, FTL might be the best indie game of the last 10 years. It's just mindblowingly good. Haven't seen anything quite at that standard recently, but there's definitely good stuff. At the current bundle's 1 USD tier Steamworld Heist is a lot of fun. Kind of like some weird mix between Worms and X-com or something.
