Which would translate to 30 cents, normal steam price is 3€ and up for them. I think I'll skip this event. Too much effort to get 10 k gems, 0 bags for sale. I agree with whoever said this was an inventory clearing thing. Same as when they removed all chests in Dota 2. That they also drive market prices up and might make more profit on it is a bonus for them.

Bought FF III on the Humble store, liking the game so far. Hope IV and VIII go on sale on steam.

I just spend some time last night watching the market to sell my useless stuff (background/emoticons), buying some gems to craft some booster packs to then craft some of the badges I didn't have and then sell the leftovers and the holiday trading cards. I also crafted some of the boosters packs that I knew I could sell the single cards for a decent price. Now I wake up today to find that everything is gone and I have like 19k gems left... At least I was able to make a little profit out of this, just wish I could make more.

Last Light now way. 2033 could be worth it for 4.99$ or so, because its in a new Engine and has new Graphics/Gameplay. Especially the Stealth-System is way way better in the Last-Light Engine.

That they also drive market prices up and might make more profit on it is a bonus for them. It was no effort to get 10k gems. I had $0.18 in my wallet when the event started. I spent that on 6k gems, used the gems to craft booster packs, opened the packs, and sold the cards. I'm up to $2.12 now, and still have more stuff to sell. Now, this doesnt work anymore because the gems are no longer marketable, but it was stupidly easy at first.

It's actually really good, I've played through the first New Game+ already and am on New Game++. And on PC, you can bypass some of the BS the game has. I.e. you can hack Tails into your inventory when you get to that portion of the game. They have a .4% drop rate (.8% with Treasure Hunter Augment), so screw wasting that time. Also, since this game is actually a port of the iOS version, it still has its defects carried over. I.e. in the DS version, you got a Limit Break Augment when you beat the game once and another after you beat it on New Game+ (you're limited to 3 playthroughs of the game, it doesn't give you anything after New Game++). On iOS, it only gives you one after beating the game once. Thankfully, you can correct that defect with the same hack.

I'm just scared when I have this much money on my account that I'll waste it before the good deals come around. As in, not wait for my wishlist games to go on sale but buy random heavily discounted games I will never play. Bought FF III on the Humble store, liking the game so far. Hope IV and VIII go on sale on steam. FF8 is 50% off on Humble Store now for a bit over a day and a half. I can't imagine it'll get any cheaper than that during the Steam Sale.
