The Steam Exploration Sales has started
so far, quite decent, might get "The Evil Within" or "Company of Heroes 2"
|
The Steam sale looks nice so far.
The front page is confusing though. I can't tell how far down the daily deals go.
|
Stanley Parable is 70% off, wanted to get my hands on that one for an eternity already. Supposedly is really fun and "different". :D Sadly only 40% on Crypt of the Necrodancer. Isaac Rebirth isnt really cheap either but that was expected.
Trine 2 is 85% off, I can only recommend that game. It's pretty easy but it tells quite the nice story and you can play through it cooperatively with up to three players.
|
If you use your wishlist to keep track of stuff you might want to pick up, you can use this page and it'll show everything on your list that's currently on sale.
I imagine this sale will be like all the other Steam sales - if something you want isn't a Daily Deal then hold off on buying it til the final day just incase it goes on sale for more.

Super Meat Boy is off 80%. This is a must buy for anyone that enjoys platforming and fast paced, difficult, precise gameplay. But I guess most people should already have it. ;D

40% off Lords of the Fallen on steam.... I'm tempted. Supposedly plays like DS. but lacks something DS has that makes it so fun. I never expected LotF to be the next coming of Christ for this genre so 30 EUR seems like a much more reasonable price than the 50 it was at before.
Aaaand Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This game... I've been on this fence for a few months now, is it worth the buy? Does anyone here have experience with it? Does it play like Star Wars: Empire at War , with the space fighting?

How can you tell what is on daily deal and what isn't though?

The very first section labeled "Featured Deals" are the daily deals. Also they'll (probably) keep doing posts like this one that tell you just the daily deals without having to go through the main store page. If you have twitter, they tweeted that link out today and will probably do the same for the rest of the days.

Should I get both Borderlands 1 and 2? I got The Pre-Sequel for free and I'm having tons of fun with that.
|
Uhm. BL1 is pretty "different" and alot smaller. BL2 is a bigger, better pre-sequel IMHO, its just a finished product.
Both definitely worth getting though.
|
IM thinking about picking up Dont Starve. Is it worth it? Is the DLC worth it?
