I played Nether with Beta guest access and I can safely say Day Z alpha is more polished. Nether looks good on pictures but the architecture and landscape are very flat when playing it. Additionally the weapons feel fairly bland. Support DayZ not one of the imitators.

Its like Walking Dead, but with a worse setting/backgroundstory.

They're behind schedule on episode 2 with a recent announcement of an announcement (shoutouts to EG) of the release date of episode 2 coming after the holidays. That said, as opposed to the opinion of the poster above me, I enjoyed TWAU more than TWD. If you're not familiar with the source material, it's a (canon) prequel to the Fables comic book series which is good in its own right. The film noir style and the soundtrack are fantastic. They also improved upon the quick time event system they used in TWD.

I disagree. Give it more episode and it could be better than Walking Dead. I like the fairy tales setting a lot more than the standard zombie story

Thanks, went ahead and bought it. Seems more polished with some tweaks and stuff, but yea like you said, if i wanna replay the game with the best settings/bugfixes then i think its worth the 5 bucks.

I liked the first Episode more than the earlier Walking Dead Season 1 stuff . Though the first Episode of Season 2 was quite alot better. But it benefited from improved mechanics ( thanks to Wolf among us in part ) and familiarity.
