Oh...turn based combat. Crap, that kinda kills it for me, never really enjoyed the oldschool Fallout or Tactics-style gameplay.

I can't resist hoarding every decent looking platformer. It's weird. I didn't even like platformers until a few years ago when someone told me to play Super Meat Boy. Since then I've just been spending money every time I see a platformer go on sale

Likewise, Tomb Raider is $12.50 or $10 with the discount.

If you want 4x, you could try Sword of the Stars 1 (not 2, that is apparently still extremely buggy), Distant Worlds, Stardrive, Sins of a Solar Empire, GalCiv 2. AI War is also really good, but i have no idea how to classify that one. Probably simply RTS.

(Crusader Kings 2, Europa Universalis 3, Hearts of Iron 3, Victoria 2) They are not for everyone, but they are simply amazing and pretty much have the most depth out of anything in the strategy genre. I love strategy and was thinking of buying Civ5 but people in its thread seems pretty upset about the AI :/ Can anyone suggest me some good (and not short) titles? I'm playing on lower levels, but so far I haven't had any major issues with the AI in the game....

1-2 remakes / re-releases still use classic bump system for dealing damage; Felghana and Origin have more traditional controls (i.e. pressing buttons to attack) and are more like 6.

Sure, but it would be helpful if you give me some restrictions/preferences, otherwise the list can become pretty long. Also, keep in mind that these are just games that i enjoy, but i assume you are basically just fishing for names that you can look into, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I tend to like all type of games (except for sports, maybe). I like strategy/rpg/action/fps. I don't like simulation like The Sims. I recently bought Deus Ex: HR and finished it, it wasn't that bad, but not that good either to me. Some games that I already played/owned that I loved: Just Cause 2, Dead Space, all total war games, Diablo 3... At this moment in my life, I would kill to play Rome: total war 2 or GTA 5 for pc ![]()
