I haven't played the mod, but it would have to improve things drastically. The intro area was worse than Telos, the next two quarters of the game spent far too much time retracing KotOR1 characters and worlds, and the last quarter...as I said, one of the worst rush-jobs I can think of aside from Xenosaga's last disc.

If the mod really was a massive overhaul, then I guess it might be worthwhile.

Fair enough that you disagree, but a significant amount of people appreciated KOTOR2's narrative far more than 1's; Kreia's role in the narrative certainly has something to do with that, but the overarching themes in the two games are very different. I wouldn't try to argue against someone wanting to play the first one.

Well, I started the Game few days ago and Embermage seems really nice. You have alot of synergies at least as a Frost-Mage. By far the best money I spend this Steamsale.

I can understand why people might prefer the thematic elements in KotOR2...but actually playing the game, I felt those themes were purely lip service. I think there's like...two scenes with Kreia that everyone gets hung up on and repeat ad nauseum, but the rest of the game is still just standard "Save the puppy vs Rape the puppy" morality.
