Ive had that problem with earlier sales aswell, so now i limit myself on how much i can buy by putting a credit cap. has worked well the last couples of sales. makes you think twice about buying.

I might have gone abit crazy on this one... Sniper Ghost warrior 2 (Which sucks btw) Darksiders 2 Systemshock 2 mass effect 2 Borderlands 2
Appearantly i've got a weak spot for sequals

anybody knows something about the KOTOR steam editions? are they running without any problems? i loved both titles and even played them recently again but getting them work on win7 was quite an exhausting process, would definitely invest into a version which runs without 2hours patch work.
and btw for all rpg fans who like a challenge, you should take a look at "dark souls: prepare to die edition", this title definitely needs some more attention. a gamepad is strongly recommended tho since it's originally a console game and the pc-port is kinda bad (controlling wise with keyboard and mouse).
|
^ i heard dark souls is suppose to be hard, but i only think that's the case 90% due to clunky controls.
|
Kotor 1 I had to tinker with alot before I got it to work on win 7. Number 2 is considerably easier to get working, had a few times where the game hangs in video sequences otherwise quite smooth.

I dont remember many problems with the first one. The second one had major issues.

Controls are anything but clunky on a 360 pad. It's the game with the best dynamic combat engine made in the last year by a mile.

It is pretty challenging just as a game, requires a fair amount of trial and error and thought.

thanks for the fast answers.

that's not true at all, the controlling is really exact for a console title (when played with gamepad).

perhaps I'm alone in this... but I would look down on anyone who votes for the two 40% deals over the 85% deus ex.... Could be I'm the last person to not own this yet, but if that isn't the next flash deal I'll be kinda pissed...

By the way if the dark souls ptd edition is currently 50% i hate to break it to you but it was 75% off in the first day of the sales. Can't check because I'm in game atm but hope it's 75!

Played through both with Steamversion and Win7. No problems at all, you only need a Widescreen Patch.

Is anyone interested in purchasing a copy of Sins of a Solar Empire from the 4-Pack? The pack is currently $30, which would be $7.50 for a copy instead of $10.

At less than four bucks, anyone who is on the fence about Fallout: New Vegas should absolutely, definitely, undoubtedly, immediately buy it now. If I had bought that game for four dollars, I would have gotten about 100 hours per dollar out of that game. Best value game of the sales so far imo.

It includes all previous content.

If it doesn't win, I'm willing to bet that Deus Ex will get it's own Daily or Flash deal. Every sale I've seen for a while has had it. That's partly why I didn't vote for it. So stay tuned!

Aww yeah, today is a good day for me. I got ME2 and Dishonored and am considering picking up Mirror's Edge, since I've heard it's good. I hope Deus Ex wins the Community choice, since 3 dollars seems like a great deal for that one.
