I'm purposefully just levelling assault as i didn't get a good chance to play it in beta, figured i'll level an entire class first then get started on the rest. Fairly challenging gameplay, spend a lot of time cowering waiting for engi's to deal with a tank, but standing on a health pack and firing into an alley is sick ^_^ I'm basically the same. I played Assault a little bit near the end of the beta and liked the medic pack healing aspect as well as reviving people. Also the assault gets some really nice weapons. My friend favors support so I can always count on him to drop me an ammo pack if i need it.

Want to know what is my next level to get up now that I got my M4 all good. I haven't done much engineer levelling, but I know that it is the case with the assault class (that is, weapon unlocks are useable by both teams).

I'm having a very hard time actually hitting (nearly impossible to kill anything) anything or anyone with these jets/helis. I would love to have flares ASAP, so I dont' get knocked down have 1 minute of flying... Also, this is for the 360...and it's a pain to fly and aim with the controller....(at least for me it is)

You can't complain too much however, since it lets you choose what type of scope / targeting to put onto each gun. If you don't want a regular zoom scope, you can put a laser crosshair, or maybe one of the 1x IR scopes. Admittedly I haven't played too many FPS of this specific type (last was BF2) but I like the weapon customization it has. As for the order of unlocks, that's just nitpicking.

This is the first BF game i've played, played CoD since MW, so maybe this is how the scope unlocks have always worked. I was just trying to state that i think it's more useful to have the guns have the sights like, red dot and holo, unlocked first because I think the majority of people that have an assault rifle, smg, lmg would prob be in medium/short range fights more often then long range where the 4x scope would help. Just my 2 cents. Only nitpick I have of the game. I freaking love it!

It's nice for sniping (eliminates sway completely) and can help machine guns shoot at longer ranges, but besides that you're probably better off taking it off, or crouching instead so it doesn't set up Crouching does not disable it. Depending on where you are crouching (like if there's some sort of small wall, you can use the bipod on that, and bf3 will set your guy up in the "correct" position. "correct" being if it was intentional or not.... I love the bipod...it just depends on the user. It does, however, screw people over at times...and it will mess up your view if you're hiding in a bush.

If you burst fire with it well you usually won't notice the smaller clip. Also you can still swap it to single shot if you wanted to right? SCAR single shot for long range would be beast. Makes me want to start leveling engineer instead of assault.
