You can also get a top-end processor for $1000. Already we're at $2500! I don't think any of that is necessary to max out current generation games though, unless we're talking multi-display.

I get the point right like you spawn in and you have a straight objective forward but that would be a lot better as a conquest map, might seem a bit odd but spawning there like over and over as a normal spawn to go after a flag would be very fun. If it is a rush map then it makes metro look like a pile of shit, base jumping...fuck yeah. Dean Potter anyone? ^^ Apparently, all 5 game modes (Conquest, Conquest 64, Rush, DM, TDM) are available on all 9 maps that are available on release day, so at least there is a choice and variety. Also, I think I watched a developer video where they explained that on certain maps, they kinda wanted to visually "tell a story" by changing up the game environment as a team progresses through the map, kinda like how Metro transitioned from a park into a subway into a city. From what I've seen in the latest trailer, the base jumping map may have a similar mentality in mind.

The TDM version of that map is all down the bottom, so theyd just change the sections of the maps available per game mode.

That's the whole point... it's a useless spot for a sniper, but useless snipers are very attracted to useless spots. The hills on Port Valdez and Arica Harbour are also a useless spots for a sniper, and they're populated by at least two people going for +500 marksman in just about every game I've seen.

Then again, the Battlefield series is infamous for having useless people in every pub game, so having useless snipers standing around is nothing new for a franchise that has been plagued in almost every game by people camping for jets or vehicles. Plus, those kinds of people are fun to grief :D

Really great game, funniest FPS game in quite some time. Care to tell some specs? I have around 2 year old PC too. It barley got above ~30fps on Metro with all low. ps. Apparently Karkand expansion (w/e) comes month after the release. Damn.. ![]()

While i dont always do this, i do get alot of satisfaction getting those 5-700 meter headshots. Something that bugged me while i did those kind of things was that spotting just stopped working after a certain range for whatever reason *Edit* i also realize im mostly useless while doing this and dont really contribute to the team winning or not ![]()
