Usually it's around 14.00 CET but since the main host has been having major problems lately there really is no telling when the server will be open for the public.

I don't know when the google-map is being updated, but it looks pretty up-to-date.

Right on, I guess I am gonna have to wait till after work tonight to finish my town. The reason I asked about the map is that I don't see it on there.

~~What does it take to have blocks protected?~~ Never mind, I have to get town status.

In my defense though, this thread is huge (OP does not specify about whitelist) and I finally now just had some time to go through the whole thing: awesome pics. I think we can safely say that in addition to being the greatest Starcraft community, TL has licked the achievement of the greatest minecraft community.

It's still a free build map. Not everyone wants a realistic-style server. Towns were a way to have a bit more structure for those that do, because without some kind of system in place things would just end up like last server where everyone is making a bajillion sky roads and giant empty buildings that server no purpose other than taking up space.

The 3D map was updated I think two days ago, roughly. I wish I could update it more often, however it's a 700MB+ html file which takes about three hours to create and upload. It's not that I can't do it, because I could make a new one every three hours if I felt like it. It's just that I usually don't have time to, but that's something I'm trying to work on. I'll put up a new one this afternoon.

It's not your fault. I usually have a message in the op to PM me, but lately I've been trying to clean up the op and make it look prettier, and apparently I forgot to put the whitelist info back up there

Also, we're not quite the greatest minecraft community. Private community, possibly. But there are a few public servers that trump this one pretty good

I didn't; I noticed shortly after I posted the server was marked offline.

Also my ISP happened to start having issues then too.
