Since no one is suggesting pokémon, I'd like to see ForGG. Although Chinro may also be useful (I think fighting pokémon are okay vs the viridian gym. Get him evolved to a Chinroke. Maybe even Machink by doing trading? | ||

Correcting you again, he cannot attend viridian gym yet, heh  You need to seek out blue at cinnabar island before to make him return to his gym, i also think that you need all 7 badges before battling him as well, but the last remaining gym leader (aside from blue) just so happens to be at cinnabar anyway. | ||
