I mean if you wanted you could just say to yourself. If I die. I make a new game, the world would be different but meh. Or you can start a game and start a base very far away from your respawn point so when you die you just do not go back to your base and start all over. After a few deaths you will have these remnants of old kingdoms and stuff that you worked on in your past lives. Kinda cool

I wish there were monsters that threaten me and my structures, try to break them down. That would make a lot of my buildings more practical. It would be cool if surviving became increasingly more difficult too. Anyways, love this game, I'm playing it probably too much.

I've been killed twice while auto tabbed farming skeletons. Stole an idea for a drowning machine I found on Youtube; the first time I came back and found a lone skeleton had made it to my collection area and killed me. I couldn't find any gaps in my plan, so I just figured it was a freak occurrence. I came back a second time after about 30 minutes of being tabbed, and I found two skeletons standing on my corpse. I set it to peaceful, and found that the majority of my glass wall was destroyed, as were a few stone blocks. I still have no idea what happened, and I know for the most part that no mobs are really threatening right now when it comes to structures (unless a creeper gets the jump on you in your base somehow), but it was really strange. My best theory right now is there was a buildup, and they somehow forced through/broke the glass. But I honestly have no idea.

My thoughts exactly. Many new enemies with different qualities and different ways to threaten you, as well as increasingly difficult survival would be really awesome. I'd like more random effects implemented, like lightning turning things on fire, earthquakes or, just like mentioned before, some enemies which cause bigger threats and can dig underground, for example.. However, minecraft's biggest plus atm is its potential IMO.It's still just in alpha stage, yet it's already so awesome. I can only imagine how many new cool features could be added in the future

I replant the trees I harvest near my base, and after a long mining expedition in a nearby cave I found (first major one, holy balls is it huge) two of the threes had turned into monstrosities that were two to three times taller than normal trees. I had to use a ladder just to get to the top to chop all the upper branches. Each one probably has 20ish wood blocks. Given the fairly simple game mechanics I just expected to always see 4-5 block trees, so it was nice to see that the game can grow really large ones, too. Considering making a tree fort on the one I haven't chopped yet. how can i mine red stone? stone pickaxes don't seem to be working You need Iron (the ore you get out of the tanish ore blocks) pickaxes to mine Redstone/Diamond/Gold. Mine Iron, then put it in a furnace (built like a chest, but with cobblestone instead) with fuel to get bars to make items with. Different fuels will power the furnace for a different amount of time. Coal being the goto, but wood planks not being a bad secondary if you don't have an abundance of Coal yet. http://minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Furnace

Usually this stuff happens when a creeper and a skeleton get into a fight, but thats pretty improbable, since the skeleton will have to accidentially hit a creeper for that to happen. But if it does, the creeper will turn on the skeleton and blow him up. And sometimes your house, too. Or maybe the skeleton just used a staircase to get into your collection point. I dunno, I have no idea how your trap looks.

It provides light so they can't spawn, and it kills them. You also need to make sure to light the area on the inside well enough or they can spawn in there too. I created a water moat that sucks the creatures down into an underground pit where they eventually die and whatever they drop is deposited into a little whole for me.

From the description what he's done is 'import' a design he's made (ridiculous stage 1) into minecraft (stage 3) after converting it (stage 2). So not so much of the block planting, time is finite after all, but yet again proving that Autism Kicks ASS !

I dunno, I have no idea how your trap looks. I hadn't even thought of that. Basically I have a little enclosed rectangular room. There's a skeleton mob spawner on one side, suspended in the air, with three streams at the back of the room. They fall into the water and the current makes takes them to a ledge, and they fall into more water, which drowns them. There's a glass wall here which prevents them from getting through, but the three bottom blocks are mined out, so drops can get through. Have streams on either side to force all drops to enter one square. I had just assumed that since my room around the collection area was pretty well lit, that I would be safe, but I completely forgot the possibility of other mobs spawning in the part of the room with the mob spawner.
