edit: what I mean is, it's all good not spending much, but whats the point if you still don't have that little extra to win trophies. Even united had to spend 30+ million on berbatov and 20+ million on rooney | ||

Carroll leaving Newcastle reminds me a bit of Andy Cole leaving although that was a lot harder to take for Newcastle fans. Selling Carroll at 35mil was a no brainer, the guy has had half a season in the premiership, done really well but c'mon... Liverpool should have waited till the end of the season, is this the signing to win the Europa league or what. Interesting to see what Newcastle do with the cash, when they sold Cole they spent it all plus more on new players, I bet they don't do that this time! Will Spurs sign anyone? Has Harry gone to bed? | ||
