edit: maybe I shouldn't call them idiots, sorry if I struck a nerve there. OT: Wolves drew 3 - 3 with tottenham (more dodgy referee calls) so chelsea just needs to do the business against blackpool to keep a strong hold on 4th to push on and try to disrupt the top 3

Liverpool fans still harping on about Torres instead of just being glad their team is doing well is getting stale. eh disagree with what? No Liverpool fans care about Torres leaving anymore, that's the whole point, Fernando who? Get it? Geez...

All Liverpool fans care about is the return of King Kenny. I mean ffs...all of Anfield (40k+) was singing "Happy Birthday" and chanting "Dalglish! Dalgish!" today. How many managers in the world get that kind of treatment? I think Liverpool fans are over Torres. YNWA ![]()

There's something wrong with Rafael's head, he could very easily have been sent off when Utd was behind two goals. Liverpool closed down really well all game. A fair result imo. Neither Utd or Arsenal deserve the title this year but Arsenal seems a lot worse at getting results vs average sides. bullshit. arsenal deserve the title more than anyone how the fuck can you say that. arsenal have played the most games, in the most competitions, had the most key players injured by far and are close to equal with ManU. They play the best football and in the league have not had a spell of bad form all season, unlike united, with 3L from 5 games now.

If you look at some of the second place finishers from recent seasons - like United last year, or Liverpool the year before - they played much better football than United and Arsenal have this season.

I just don't think that is reason enough to take credit away from arsenal and say they don't deserve a title, when they have continually improved over the years, whereas others are losing momentum. still 10 games to go though anything can happen.

It's sort of amusing that the English sides are doing quite well in Europe but are having so much trouble domestically. I find this especially true of Spurs, with their excellent results against Inter and Milan but difficulties against teams like Blackpool. I rather like the unpredictability of this season because we so see so much more variation in this season (at one point Liverpool were almost in the relegation zone and West Brom were 4th).

I guess what I'm saying is, you don't always get what you deserve.

arsenal have played the most game They could make their shedule a lot easier, if they beat crappy teams in first games (i mean cup games against leyton, ipswich and leeds). Arsenals' fault clearly. had the most key players injured arsenal has always a lot of injured players, something wrong with their training may be... They play the best football while they were playing the best football, and losing points stupidly (spurs comeback. amazing 4-4 against newcastle, conceding an equalizer against ten men wigan), ManU took points in every game, even when they didn't deserve that (game vs West Brom). Thus i think ManU deserve the title more than Arsenal. Though it can change at the end of the season. 3L from 5 games now iirc, the last time MU lost two games in a row was march 2009, in two months they were champions. p.s. hope chelsea doesn't fuck up today... blackpool is a good team for Torres' first goal in blue shirt.

I don't care if he doesn't play (ok, I do...) but the fact that he has been renamed in the squad means that we still have hope in other competitions. Persie is integral for our game against man u in the fa cup. Either way, it remains to be seen if he will be in the squad tomorrow...hopefully he will. GL ARSENAL!

Suares was insane. Carragher doesn't get red cards at anfield, ever. He avoided a blatant one last season vs us too, Rafael was never ever going to be sent off after Carragher got away with his foul which was significantly worse and Maxi's vs Rafael before he went batshit insane was pretty dangerous too and not even a free kick for that one. Best team won that match by an absolute mile though, no matter how much it pains me to say it. I really can't see arsenal getting anything other than 3 points vs us - we have a piss poor midfield... How Carrick even makes the bench never mind the starting 11 is a mystery to me.

Would love to see Arsenal win the league, but their own form has left a lot to be desired. Too much reliance on RvP, who admittedly is one of the best strikers in the world, but Arsenal need to beat these teams they've been drawing with. Yes, wrong ref decisions cost them a win against Sunderland but when all's said and done they need to be getting more of these shots on target, and someone needs to step up when RvP isn't available. Here's hoping to a victory against Barca tonight ![]()
