As I see it, you can beat Barça for sure, its just that its so difficult. Im not saying Arsenal has no chance, of course they do, they are ahead right now, but this game Barça made soooo many mistakes. Messi missed an easy goal, dissappeared during the game, and Valdes messed up bad with the first gunner goal, while the defense did very bad on the 2nd goal.
Barça has so much more to offer, and I think they will show it at Barcelona. I hope!
Oh and it was great seeing Arsenal attack even with the 2-1 lead. Here in Spain whenever a team gets a 1-0 over Barça, the rest of the game is played in a 9-1 setup.

so happy!! guess it was the previous games 3 games in 7 days Yeah because Arsenal also don't play tones of games and have no christmas break like spain messi played 90 mins in all games. barcelona had no offensive power once Villa was subbed also. Keita? wtf
btw that guy saying RM will trash Barcelona, Lmao.

He is a defensive coach, i bet if he does score he will go all defensive mode like he ALWAYS does ,lol

Yep I said it, and when it happens im going to come back here and quote myself let's try to remember your overconfident post and come back here after real madrid either scores 1 and then goes all out defense or simply loses like they most likely will. you get super excited because you see barcelona lose and you automatically think theyve been 'figured' out lol well see.
anyway im super happy arsenal scored two very nice gols :D gonna be an extreme task to beat them at the camp, since barcelona only needs to win 1-0 to move on. difficult task indeed. <3 arsenal :D

Barca got the critical away goal. That said, they will be missing Pique for the return leg so that will hurt them substantially. Despite what many people will say I don't actually find Barca that entertaining to watch. One-touch passing around the defense gets boring quickly. I'd rather watch a game like the Roma v Shaktar game that was full of goals and drama.
As far as the Arsenal v Barca goes, I was disappointed that Arsenal did not play Rosicky. Granted he's injury prone but I'm biased; he's my favorite player. Wilshere was a class act in the center of the park. He was much, much better than that hatchetman Song.

If that offside Barce goal was allowed; it could've been a completely different story. Just shows that Barce are definitely beatable but you need to really get in their faces and put the pressure on instead of gingerly wandering around.

As an Arsenal fan, awesome result. I heard it on the radio and saw some of the highlights, never seen messi miss chances like that!
Barca are still favourites but Arsenal are capable of beating them away and at least they have the belief unlike last year. I do think Barca will win though.
Also whats all this "if that goal was allowed?". It wasn't, he was rightly offside. "What if that shot went in?" would also be a different story. I dont see the arguement.

The goal was clearly onside. Messi is behind him when the shot is made and still behind him when the ball rebounds.

Ecstatic that we came back to win the game but we all know what kind of a force barca is at the nou camp. It would be a miracle if we progressed but I'm certainly more optimistic than I was before. Go Gunners!

am i the only one that thinks Van Persie is incredibly overrated? Im checking the Arsenal forums right now and they all agree he was "Magic" rofl. he send the ball into the stands like 4 times when he wasnt even far from the goal, and that was with his best foot (left). I watched him for at least 3 seasons and dont know why arsenal supporters praise him so much he's so "clumsy" with the ball, but meh.
dont get me wrong im bashing the gunners, Fabregas is my idol :/ i think they are the only team that has the potential to actually play the Barcelona style. Well see in the return leg though ^_^

I agree with the post above me if the RVP could actually stay healthy he could be a pretty ridic player.

If scoring the crucial equaliser after not having the best of games won't convince you, a run of 12 goals in 10 games should.

Caught the highlights last night, that van persie goal was beastin'. I've always thought Arsenal are one of the biggest under performers in European football, so they'll have to prove me wrong in Barca.
I'm gonna say 4-2 aggregate Barcelona IF Barca score before half time, If Arsenal score first I think it's GG,
That Arsenal defense for the first Barca goal though, so bad lol.

That was the biggest game i've watched in a very long time. Loving this arsenal team. They excite me more than the Gunners of 2004 to be honest.
Still big underdog to go through though but we can be sure the Nou Camp leg won't disappoint in terms of quality.

ye van persie is just injured too often so he never really gets to be in shape for any extended period.. but he has some crazy good finishing skills whenever he peaks.
